I had him for 3 semesters, and out of my 4 years at EHS, his classes were the most demanding besides AP. He expects more out of the students than some other CP teachers, which, for some students, makes the class really difficult. Though there are a lot of things about Econ and World History I do not remember, there are a lot of life lessons I have learned in that class. You have to work for the grade you want, it always helps to stay on his good side.
I had Dave Tennant for Animation and Econ courses. At the time, I thought the Econ course was insanely difficult - in college however, I realized that he ingrained his lessons into me well enough that I understand it. He is opinionated, but no more so than any of my college teachers. He is an excellent teacher as long as the student can follow the theories well. Studying and extra credit definitely help. Animation class was fun and extremely educational. He was and still is my favorite teacher.
Probably one of the best teachers i ever had attending EHS. Once you really get into his lectures and his teachings, his class become more interesting. Keep asking questions and actually try on the lecture notes. Make flashcards for the email questions. Trust me. It helped
Definitely a class I will always remember. This guy wants to make you work so you do your best for you not just for his class. If your currently in his class or get it in the future, stick it out. Give him you're respect and you'll fersure get it back. Thanks for a great year.
Scrapbook: ask in detail about every component. He will not tell you unless you ask, and if you ask too early he won't tell you. The examples are for a "C" grade. Just take notes on everything on the board and every once in a while whatever he says, and do extra credit. Go to review sessions for exams, and make flashcards for email questions on test. just memorizeee
Extremely opinionated. The easiest way to ace the class is to be as much like Tennant as possible.
Hes a good teacher, can give lots of good advice about life, but he'll try to scare you out of his class the first few weeks just to get people to drop. Hes pretty knowledgeable about this subjects, recommend any of his classes.
Hes a great teacher and does alot to help you and challenges you. Thanks Mr. T!
well... in his visual basic class... its pretty easy... compared to my other classes... and hes very flexible about due dates... hes alright
hes cool. Funny sometimes a little strict other times
