"Brevity is not a virtue," is the one line I recall heading all of his exams. Mr. Bardos set high standards and kept his word. I graduated almost 40 years ago from CHS, and he is the one teacher I know made a positive impact in my life.
I've had Mr. Bardos as my teacher when I did my exchange year in CHS. My English was poor back then and his class seemed very difficult at first, although once I improved my English I took a class with him the next semester on purpose! He is an amazing teacher, extremely knowlegeable of the subject he teaches and a great personality. Ten year later, he is the only teacher I remember and value!

I also remember my Bardos-isms. He was such a passionate and dedicated teacher. I will never forget him, best teacher ever!
Still remember many Bardos-isms. He was definitely the best teacher of my academic career.
Think he's retired now, but, he's a very stimulating teacher. Enjoyed arguing with him.
THE most knowledgeable teacher at CHS. Once you get used to his papers and exams, you are pretty much set for university. You only have one more year for AP Block, I suggest you take it.
He gets easier in AP Block when you know what he expects. His quizes can be insanely hard though. Tests are pretty easy
Really not that hard once you understand what he wants. Knows a lot. Likes to get off topic
He teaches history very well and is knowledge in a variety of subjects. He can differentiate meaningful writing from meaningless jumbles of "big" words. However, he's unapproachable at times.
Mr. Bados is a very knowlegable teacher; Carmel H.S. is lucky to have him. He successfully instills an interest in a subject that many sudents would rather do without.
His class is very hard, but he makes history very memorable and prepaes you extremely well for the AP test
Mr. Bardos is a really nice guy and easy to get along with. I think he is probably the most well-informed of all my teachers and can easily answer any questions over any period in history. A+ from me!
Mr. Bardos is the worst teacher I ever had, he is impatient, and teaches to one or two students, and ignores the rest of the class. Note to Bardos, get down off your high horse!
What a guy! This man seriously took history and made it interesting (not an easy thing to do). Despite the fact that his class is the hardest I have ever taken, I am very very happy that I survived it, and it made me such a better student. Take his class while you can, He Might not be around much longer.
I LOVE MR. BARDOS! He knows EVERYTHING, cares about his students, and... knows EVERYTHING! He is no doubt the better of the two Honors Block teachers.
Bardos is one of the main reasons I'm going to be a history teacher...He's tough, but you'll learn more about yourself and your abilities than you ever thought
Outstanding teacher...one of the greatest ever. Should be a model to all teachers. A battle of wits cannot be won against Bardos.
an extremely intelligent man. make the most of your time with him and never let him intimidate you.
Tests are challenging but not impossible. Effective studying is imperative. Lectures entertaining. Teacher has a strong grasp of subject, appreciates students.
In the long totem pole of my favorite teachers here, Bardos is second to none.
Mr. Bardos is an effective teacher whose credo is to prepare students for the future. As it stands, if one is able to pass his class, one can do anything.
Mr. Bardos is the best teacher at Carmel High School!
