I now understand him. He is the high bar we all try to reach. The one who sees me for me. In 1oth grade he would come into RJs history class and crack us up and talk about IB. I watched him talk to Srs who would sass everyone but never ever Quinn. I now know why. He has been guiding me thru the college process since spring. I'm totally done with everything. He helped with my applications and essays. No idea where I would be without him. He helps EVERYONE who comes to his office, not just IB kids

Watching Quinn get kids into insane colleges all the time, you realize that the kids are only doing part of the work and that the rest is the work of Quinn. Our little high school gets kids into Williams, Yale, USC, Penn, Duke, JohnsHopkins and tons of other places and that's because of IB and Quinn. I don't go into his office all the time (like soooooome people) but when I do the music is blasting and there's candy hidden in his files. I have no doubt that my life is better because of him

Honestly, at the beginning of the year I was kind of terrified of Mr. Quinn. It's now the end of April and I'm one of the many people who casually sits in his office and eats lunch. If you have questions regarding almost anything--IB, school in general, news, etc.-- he's always great to talk to. I feel like he's worked so hard to get all of us full and partial IB kids where we need to be in terms of IB prep and graduation and I'll miss him after I graduate. 10/10 would recommend!

I'm 35 now and I'm sitting in my kitchen with my son in a house that I own. I say this with humility. David forever altered the path of my life. When I was in 10th grade he saved me from a living situation that was just awful and helped me get into a teen shelter. He worked on my resume and got me my first job and he made me take advanced classes and then got me into college on a scholarship. He got me an internship that became a job and a career. If you can, get in his class. #lifechanger

Frankly I was terrified of Mr Quinn and I quivered whenever I had to talk to him, but he's honestly so chill and cares so much about his students' success and well-being. He's super funny and gives great advice, Make sure to stay on his good side, be honest, work hard etc. He has an intimidating personality and sometimes he's in a super chill mood while other times he's downright terrifying, but in the end he's a great guy who has gotten tons of kids into top colleges!

I can honestly say that every positive comment on here is absolutely right. Quinn is the best teacher I've ever had. No doubts. He isn't easy, that's for sure. But I've never had a teacher like him before. He cares more than most parents.
