I had her for algebra. Math is not a difficult subject for me, so she was not too hard. Don't horse around in her class though. You'll just get in her bad side.
I personally believed that Ms. DeBey was a good teacher. She was kind and nice to me, but was satisfactory at teaching. I know that she was mean to most people, but to me, she was particularly nice. However, what I didn't like about her was that sometimes, she was unclear and she went too fast during the lessons. Also, she was overly picky about the homework and graded too harshly. Luckily, I do neat homework so that didn't affect me. So, to conclude, she is good to those who are good to her.
She's not a good teacher, but not as bad as some people think. She's usually late to her first period class, and everybody just waits. Sometimes, the tardy bell actually rings before she opens the door... She does teach the math and give help to students, but not that well. In first period she's not too grouchy, but then shes stressed and mean when I come to her class before lunch. A lot of the time she asks random questions and tells weird stories. shes ok, but I'm glad shes retiring soon.
She is mean to most studets and never really helps. She hates almost all her students and is always eating in class and texting.
I want to apologize to Miss DeBey for giving her such a hard time and making her job difficult but, most of all I am sorry for the time she had to spend dealing with my behavior problems instead of teaching and helping the other students in the class who were there to learn at Culverdale Elemetary School in 1975. My name is John Pantaleo
Ms. DeBey has got to be the worst teacher I ever had. She doesn't really help you on the lessons and she goes tends to go to fast during the lesson, so you don't know what you're doing. She will mark you down on your homework quite easily. If you doodle, write a tiny word, or even staple your homework backwards, you will lose points. Also, if you're caught eating in her class, she'll take the food away and end up eating it herself. -.-
Had her for math a while ago. Never saw her eat in class, pretty nice compared to past teachers. Not too bad.
I had her a couple of years ago for pre-algrebra. With a good work ethic, I got an A. She was very strict, but I still good in the class. I was obsessed wit showing m work though.
Okay. In her storage she has like hundreds of bags of chips. Very picky teacher. "Your fractions go in two lines." "4 lines each side for graphs."
Ms. Debey is always eating in class. And she gets annoyed when you ask questions! She never even really teaches. she lets Dr. Burger do all the work for her.
She is very popular-not in a good way. You HAVE to have your units of measurments on your test or you'll get a D.
She was a good teacher, at least for Algebra 1.;) As long as you behave and have at least a B, you're fine in her class.
can't really say much. had her 8 years ago and still get the chills when ppl say she still teaches at Venado
she's kinda mean but i'll take her over Silver anyday!!!
She is ok if you're always on your best behavior. Like I'm one of her favorites, and like, practically it is smooth sailing in her class.
Just do well on tests and do your homework and she likes you and if she likes you the class is easy. If your a favorite you can do anything, it's quite nice
Ugh. She picks favorites automatically, and sticks with them through the whole school year, so if you do something the same as her favorites, you get in trouble but they don't
