She always has loads of supplies to use, and once you've worked your way into the advanced classes, it's great times. Do the work and show some effort and she's easy deal with.
I've had her for 2 years and once you get to know her, she's great! I've learned a lot and enjoy the kind class vibe. If you're trying to get a portfolio together for college, she's knowledgable and helpful.
Unfair, plays favorites. It's almost funny how she always picks on the same students...
Critiques are not helpful, and instead of giving an opportunity for the student to improve, she encourages other students that might not be of the same artistic level to give specific instructions to the student's critiqued work, which not only hinde
Plays favorites... kind of annoying actually. Everybody's a little bit racey, but I mean come on, you gotta draw the line somewhere.
awesome teacher! caring, kind; everything a teacher should be!
As long as you do all the work you should be okay in this class. If your an advanced artist the lower level classes can be annoying b/c you're just going over the basics, so get into a higher class.
She's an amazing person and artist, but like lots of art teachers, not necessarily a good teacher.... She's a reasonable grader if you actually work, you do improve in her class, high levels are fun.
Messinger is awesome! She cares a lot about her students, especially if you show interest. Be sure to go on the Italy trip!
shes a classic art teacher. if youre just in there for the credit, you probably wont like her. but if youre a serious art student, she's very helpful.
The class is a lot harder than I thought it would be. This was my worst grade and I get ok grades
You really need to listen when she talks, or you will get a bad grade. It really IS that easy.
Eh, she may be a good artist but she is not that good of a teacher. You never get any 1-on-1 help from her lectures are extremely boring. is fairly coolthough
She is picky, but I have become a better artist because of it.
