So far through this school year, Mrs. Boyce seems to get less and less knowledgable. She assigned us a worksheet and had half of the answers wrong when we were checking our answers. Her directions are not clear and I got ONE question wrong on one lab. She marked it as unsatisfactory, made me stay after to fix it (i made one wrong calculation) and only made it a 70!?! For ONE wrong answer. Somehow she cannot teach but finds the need to grade like a maniac.
She was nice as a person, but was not exactly the best at teaching the material. Most questions were answered with something along the lines of "I don't know. That's a good question though. You should look it up!" Follow ups to these requests happened exactly zero times.
Haha, it was funny, because we had a student teacher, and often the student teacher would know more about chemistry than her.
Very cheerful teacher. helped me get through chem (which wasn't really hard), fun jokes
She is a terrible chemistry teacher. She used to teach bio, but was moved to chem and knows nothing on the subject.
She is a great, fair, and nice teacher. Most importantly she actually teaches.
Don't get me wrong, I truly like and respect Mrs. Boyce as a person and a teacher but I just hate Chemistry with a passion. She makes a good effort to make things easy but it's impossible with a subject like chemistry.
She's a great teacher! Chemistry is tough but she explains things very well. I love her jokes too! She also doesn't give much homework.
This is one of the best teachers I've had. I took Honors Biology. The class I found to be fairly hard, but some textbook reading supplimented by her lessons will teach you a lot!
mrs boyce is a really great teacher.. she is soooo helpful and makes eveything understandable
One of the best teachers I have had...she makes everything seem so easy
good teacher but her assistant miss falco is the worst
