We really learned nothing and she repeated teaching the subjunctive about 5 times. She was teaching us the same thing she taught to her Level 3 class and giving us all the same tests. She is paranoid that students are cheating and frequently goes to drastic measures to prevent something that is't even happening. She has said rude things and often makes politically incorrect statements. On the bright side, her class is an easy A. She is also very kind to you if you do all your work well.

She's a decent teacher but is overly strict and doesn't trust her students at ALL. If you have her, never have your phone out in class; regardless of whether you use it or not, she will take it. She also speaks very fast in spanish and gets annoyed if you don't follow, so just take lots of notes.

She picks favorites, and had a really mean attitude almost all the time. She grades fairly and gives good extra help but don't get on her bad side!
Overall, I didn't like her or her class, seriously would recommend trying to switch out if you can.

She is a good teacher, its just a boring subject. If you pay attention, do your HW, and go in for help when necessary you will do great. She really cares about her students and wants them to succeed. My last piece of advice would is to not fall asleep in her class.

She is a very biased teacher and only likes the students who remind her of her family members. She teaches relatively easy but her exams and quizzes are WAY TOO HARD and she doesn't trust her students and believes they are all potential cheaters! She is not a very considerate teacher and many other students and I have had a very bad experience with her.

Ms. Jackson, was really nice and she made sure everyone understood it before she tested us on it, but WE ONLY DO ONE CHAPTER PER QUARTER. only 4 chapters over the year. Its ridiculous. but shes not too bad. If you do your homework every day and pay attention youll get an A. but her class is pretty boring but its fine if you have good people in your class

She's alright. If you're the type of kid who does his homework, pays attention, and participate, expect an A in her class. She's not the best teacher in the world, but it's easy.

This class is the most boring class ever, if you have the chance, change to honors, or another language. Ms. Jackson has us spend weeks on stuff we did in sixth grade. We spent a month and a half on review. Sure the class is easy, but it is awful. Also, she keeps the room at about 108 degrees in the winter.

Pff. I could actually learn everything from the textbook. She spends two months on a chapter. I am one of the better people in my class, mostly because I learned maybe half of this stuff, except for some of the vocab, in middle school. If you started spanish in high school freshman year, this class would be very difficult. I got an A first quarter and she said I need to improve my oral skills.. I talk more than half the people in class. Generally nice person. So repetitive in all of her lessons.

SHE IS THE WORST TEACHER EVER! For her spanish class I carried around a textbook, a workbook, an audio workbook, a notebook and a binder! That is more then all my other classes combined! She told my class she didn't care what grade we got because "there are a number of reasons why a student fails. None of them have to do with their teacher." If that doesn't make you want to jump up and down for class then I don't know what does >:(

Challenging. Very nice, as per below, but I didn't learn much either. And the problem is, after everyone fails a test, she doesn't do anything! She moves very slowly, but nothing gets through.

She is a nice woman, but the fact that I sit in Spanish not understanding the concepts but being forced to memorize just goes to show she should have stayed in law school. Whenever I see her orange shawl, my heart sinks because I know I have to sit through a block of her not only doing nothing to help the class have fun learning but just to memorize. Memorizing isn't the same as learning!

She's a very very sweet woman and she has a lot of trouble with her personal life (being a single mom is tough!) but she's not a great teacher... very unclear most of the time and she does know what she's talking about (except for relative pronouns) but she can't explain it very well. Ms. Jackson also probably has one of the highest drop out rates for LEVEL one - two kids dropped out of Spanish completely within the first quarter!

She absolutely hated me, and did everything she could to try and make me fail her class! But it was an okay class, the final wasn't that hard, and neither were most of the tests. If you go in for extra help, she'll give you a worksheet to do.

Goes out of her way to make sure you understand the material, but gives very few tests and quizzes so if you do poorly on one your in trouble.
