Simply the Best. She is super sweet and extremely helpful. I wrote my first paper in college and got a 86 because of the strategies she taught me. I learned a lot from her class and every class had a different and interesting discussion that related to the last class and the material. She makes you work for your A but is very helpful at getting you to that point.
I like Mrs. Grist a lot, I think she is kind and wants to help all of us, though I do think she thinks she's smarter than she is.. I probably am too so i wont judge her too harshly for that. She is a hard grader and the tests are very difficult, but the class is very insightful and there is a lot to learn from her.
She demands alot from her students but it is only because she wants us to succeed. I really enjoy her class because of the tone she sets as being a comfortable enviroment.
Needs to stop using gross imagery and language to get a point across. Exhausting everytime she does it. She has kids so I am not sure why she thinks this is ok. We are not at Berkeley! Hello...private Catholic! I think she needs to register this because the seniors think it's wacky/inappropriate over cool.
Excellent teacher, learned so much from her! I count my blessings that she had the patience to deal with me as long as she did!
I count myself lucky every day, that I had her as a teacher. She was incredibly patient and kind, and I am in her debt.
I doubt half of these people have had her becuase she is a good tacher who grades very fairly. and she gives a million opportunities for E.C. so there should be no way to do poorly
I don't know what all these people are talking about. Mrs.Grist is a good teacher. You just gotta make the effort and do the readings. Just show her you're trying
If you have a class with her, beware of "close reading", cuz she checks highlightin marks u make on the book. Hard all around, tough grader!! Dont Take!
