I'd say he's ok, but man I really struggled in the class. And it's not only because of me. I could hardly understand what he's explaining to me. I don't what he does. He cares a lot for the students and I admire that.
Sinch w/Lynch for a Pinch...Loved him! Had him for Algebra 2 freshy year & Trig/Pre-Calc sopho year. he cracks jokes & you can tell cares about his job since he always mentions how he has practically never missed a day of work. He wants to do his best to help out his students & talks about college because he cares. Some people complain about him talking about this, but why??? It's so nice for teachers to talk about these things like they actually care! I miss my first 2 years of HS with Lynch :(
I failed my very first test in his class as he never clarifies anything he teaches.
He cares a lot about his students and actually gives us advice about college, making investments, and what career we should go for which is really nice because none of my teachers ever talked about stuff like that. Out of all the trig/precalc teachers he is by far the hardest, he goes really fast and seems to get frusterated easily, but he definitely knows the subject very, very well and I think that is part of the reason why he is so quick, and grades so hard.
Very knowledgeable, his exams are extremely difficult, but he will give you help if you take time out of your day to ask him for help, and you must endure his conservative rants and aid on life choices.
Mr. Lynch is an awesome guy. Mr Lynch is super cool with us, and wants to get to know everyone. The problem is, he expects us to be able to study and learn material easily through repetition. He is a tough teacher teaching a tough class. Fast lectures and talking doesn't help. But I know once I move onto Calculus next year, im gonna miss him. As a person I cant say enough, but as a teacher, it gets tough. He also wants to see all of his students succeed beyond his class, and he is helpful
Lynch is a cool guy. He knows a lot about math and his class can seem difficult at times but he's a character and if your gonna take Trig/Pre Calc you might as well take it from him!
This teacher finds one student per class and picks on them, he doesn't teach the subject clearly but he tries but u can get 1 on 1 help from him, he has a poor sense of knowing what's going on in class but he will just call someone out and yell at them. Bad teacher overall. -Sam 2011
He is an amazing teacher and one of the best at Leigh. He has veryb high expectations of his students but is always willing to help at tutorial or after swchool. He is one of the few teachers that act
Awesome teacher, teaches the material very well. If your struggling in the class then your not paying attention at all. Quizzes in this class get you prepared for the material on the tests (even found
Explains very well, sometimes off topic which can get boring, but if you listen he actually can relate the math we are learning to what hes talking about sometimes. Teaching for 42 years, got to respe
One of my favorite teachers from high school! He is awesome if you want to learn math. If you're just taking the class to get by and don't have the right mentality with it, then you might not get far
Probably one of the best teachers in terms of preparing you for the future. The stuff he was teaching was covered in some of the more advanced math classes I had as an engineering student in college.
ok so here's the thing about lynch: yes, he is a hard teacher. he just exepcts a lot from students. nothing wrong with that. he's a great teacher and i learned to love math in his class.
Lynch was one of my favourite teachers. His lectures were brief and concise and he was so funny.
An pretty good teacher, despite his shortcomings. He tends to bear grudges, and also tends to get off-topic and glaze over most subjects. He promotes studying and grades; he offers monetary rewards.
He cant teach math well and hates those who can figure it out without him or do it using methods another teacher taught. only thing that he is good for is finicial advise
Preaches, rants and lectures about everything except math. Assigns homework and then attempts to explain it in later class sessions. OUT OF CONTROL.
I didn't really like him when I had him but later down the road I realized that he was a pretty good teacher although he goes off topic a lot, the discussions keep the class awake.
He's a wonderful teacher & he inspired me to become one also. I'm sure his goal is to motivate and challenge students to do their best in today's world. Not easy since most kids seem to hate math.
he's a man with a nice heart but has no ability to teach
Mr. Lych bullied and harassed my child. Are there more victims out there?
heck of a good guy. taught calc in a fun and interesting way. the horror stories about what to expect in college were greatly exaggerated, though
lol ur 2 funi. even tho u pick on me..ur lectures r prety interesting mabe i should go in for somethin wid politics
best teacher ever! made me like math, his off subject speeches kept me informed on current affairs in the world. ARNOLD FOR GOVERNATOR!
He...ummm...well...likes to talk about things not pertaining to the subject. He also makes me do weird things like write "Agent" before my name.
Mr. Lynch is a good trig teacher. He just doesn't like Democrats, Arnold, or the national debt.
greastest math teacher ever! Has made calculus so easy
I had him for algebra last year, and seriously, I was thinking... Am I in a health class, government, or Algebra? And he picks on Blondes.. :-/
WHY DO U HATE GOVERNMENT AND NUTRITION SO MUCH??? how bout u talk about math instead, it might help us
