Not only did Madame make time for the students who made time to talk to her, but she actually cared. I felt I had a second mother of sorts at school. I really tanked in my 3rd year. Not her fault, but mine. I went to her after getting an F on my report card. I promised her if she passed me, I would do my best to strive for all A's next year. So she bumped me up to a D-. The following year, straight A's. Went to college, started French 2 and aced it. I took 2 more classes and got A's there too
In high school I thought she was an amazing teacher, and actually thought about minoring in French in college. Once I got into my college-level French 2 class (since I had taken 3 years at HC, I skipped French 1) I realized how poorly Madame taught. There were many things that I should have known after having 3 FULL YEARS of French, but did not and had to be taught by my Professor out of class. It was an easy A, but not good for a person that is actually interested in the language.
she is great! i think everyone should take french with her!
Everyone should take French because Madame will do anything she can to teach you and make sure you are enjoying the language!
Very easy if you put in a little effort; Mme Pitzer is very nice.
