Great guy, extremely smart, but unfortunately not the best teacher.
Knows his stuff, but isn't a teacher. His class was a deadly bore and felt like a funeral (mine). If you can switch out, I'd advise it.
I was one of the few people in my class who enjoyed him, but I think he's simply one of the teachers you have to seek out. He's a brilliant man. Absolutely brilliant.
Smart guy, horrible teaching style, can get mad if you don't understand, often makes errors in writing which are very confusing, classes are dull and tedious, luckily tests are very easy.
Reminds me of Dr. House. Doesn't teach you how to learn, so if you're dumb, you're screwed. But he is the man. Love him to death.
If you are not an abboteer and you are thinking about doing cluster soccer, think again and transfer to an abbot dorm - just so you can have KUHLMANN as your coach!
dr. kuhlmann ROCKS my socks. great teacher, funny guy (although his jokes are somewhat arbitrary), understanding guy. put in the work and you'll do fine, he's extremely fair=)
I don't understand how this guy got a PhD. But he was a pretty good teacher.
If you aren't terrified, and can get him to slow down, he's a good teacher. If you're too scared to ask for review, you're grade is going down quick, and hard.
650 is bad as it is... tests are relatively easy, he demands a lot, sometimes too much
Great person. Very smart. Gets exhausting after three terms though. Double periods are hard to sit through. He cares about his students, but he doesn't often let that show. A good person to know on campus for getting things done.
I had three teachers for Math 600 during the course of the year, he was the best. Tests were easy because he taught the material well
Brilliant and willing to help anyone who needs it. Also very funny and interested in students and their lives/ experiences.
Dr Kuhlmann is probably one of the best math teachers I have ever had. He taught us real-life applications for the math we learned and gave fair tests. As a result, the 350 department final was a breeze.
Very picky. Knows his stuff though, just somewhat mean, and very picky, yes, VERY.
he made things i once understood become confusing. and what was with that double period we spent watching him try to play games on his calculator?
Cool guy, not the best math teacher. Would not take his class again. Pretty mean to some kids sometimes.
I had him in a class i audited, so i was confused to start off with. Otherwise, I see potential.
Good teacher, very nice man outside of class, intimidating in class, and pretty hard.
