Mr. Longman is extremely nice, willing to help, and understanding. Couple that with a very high quality of conducting, and he is the perfect orchestra conductor. Evergreen is my favorite class, and Mr. Longman contributes a lot to that.
Mr. Longman is a very nice and knowledgeable teacher. I really like seeing his friendly face everyday. But he cares so much more about Evergreen then Greenwood. It makes the Greenwood kids kind of feel like a third wheel that doesn't really belong.
If you don't get an A, it's seriously your own fault.
Longman!!! He makes the orchestra feel like a family! He cares about every student and is an excellent instructor! He makes music fun.
If you're coming from years with Mr. Miller, you will find that Longman's completely different. Unlike Miller he doesn't yell to get results, he gets them because he doesn't yell. He's hilarious and you will really enjoy having him.
very good teacher, communicates weel with studentsand parents. Great personality, loves kids! Great class
Longman and Evergreen is the one thing I miss from high school. SO many good memories...the trips, the class time, performances, the issaquah school district is so lucky to have someone like him.
Great teacher. He is a lot of fun to have, and always has some entertaining email to read. He has been very influential and helpful.
Mr. Longman was without the most influential/inspirational teacher I ever encountered in High School. Memories of this class will last a lifetime.
He is my best teacher this year! Even if I'm having a bad day, orchestra is always fun. There are kids from different walks in life, but they're all included.
This guy knows how to run an orchestra program. I learned SO much in my three years with him. He tackles pretty hard repertoire, but it always manages to come together. The cookie for forgotten music policy is the best though...
