As someone who has had rough patches in MSC math I can tell you he will help and he will help the right way, mostly after school though, class is a little different and I know that he has a hard time balancing the speed of the class
So far, i have only had him a couple of weeks, and it was not a fun couple weeks. Hes come off as very arrogant because of his teaching style. He also gave us a list of facts just to show us how smart he is. The way he teaches is very unique, he doesn't... He says "Before i go over something i have to, who doesn't understand it" and no one is brave enough to be "that guy" who constantly asks for help
Coates is like the stereotypical teacher that is a nice person but sucks at his job. he does things wrong on the board when we take notes but if we do the same thing on the homework takes a point (the hw is only out of 5) off
Not near as good as Buda--doesn't know what he's doing. HYPOCRITICAL!! His punishments don't apply to everyone; he plays pretty heavy favorites
best math teacher ive ever had honestly. i love his class. he wasnt extremely difficult but challenged you.. and didnt give useless work! great teacher and helpful and supportive!
Coates should not be teaching MSC. Can't teach anything. Buda is soooo much better.
he is awesome. best math teacher i have ever had and really makes you feel good about the math like understanding it, or improvement as well.
he's pretty cool. i had buda last year and got like a c, but this guy teaches math so it makes a lot more sense
never really had him, but ran the bible club and did and execellent job
He gets frusterated when people don't get something he thinks is simple. All in all, though, a good teacher.
He never tells us how to do something, he just does it on the board. he is incredibly boring.
HE SOMETIMES GOT HIMSELF LOST DURING HIS LECTURES. I DOUBT HE REALLY KNOWS WHAT HE'S TALKING ABOUT. NICE GUY THOUGH.
