I had Mr. Linz last year for honors and this year for AP and I have to say he is one of the most interesting ppl I have ever met. He has lived an extraodinary life and attempts to impart his wisdom on his students. He also treats his students with a huge amount respect giving us many responsibilities but also allowing us many freedoms. His tests are hard I will admit but if you try hard he won't let you fail. Be warned tho, he may seem crude at first, but he doesnt mean anything by it, its just his way.

I had him for honors physics and AP physics this year, and I must say he is the quirkiest teachers, often going out of his way to be odd. I can say one thing about him, you will never have a dull day. He knows what he is doing and has all his own methods that are sometimes ten times better than the books, but he teaches fast pace, and unless you keep up you could get shut out. He does do a lot of "life" teaching kind of stuff, and he is very crude, but even with that, a very good teacher.

Mr. Linz is the most amazing teacher. He teaches well, and if you have a question about something, he would be more than happy to help you. He also helps you with some life lessons, such as saying "yes" instead of "yeah", "finished" instead of "done", etc. All in all, he is just fun to be around, he teaches well, and he helps you.

very good teacher, most of what is learned in class he will also teach how to apply outside of school, he also cares to what happens to a student once they leave his class, does not try to fail students yet if you do nothing to try and pass that will end up in a f, advice=do the homework

Mr. Linz is the most amazing teacher I have ever had. All his whacky stories about when he was in the Navy, or his advice about dating. Its all hilarious, awesome, and a great example of what not to do when you grow up, but still he could easily start up a talk show when he retires and be the next Conan O'Brien.

I don't think I could ever have a better science teacher than Mr. Linz! Had him for honors last year, and AP this year! He may seem like a very strict and disciplined man to most outsiders, but all his students know his wacky problems and teaching methods, such as his infamous hamsters and dumping water on the front row. The only reason I don't want to graduate from WSHS is because of him.

I have never learned more from a man. I am now majoring in physics partly bc of his zest for life. AP is hard, but hard work pays off. He deserves much respect.
