He is weird. Knows a lot and has a lot of heavy but helpful handouts as homework. Tests should be easy if you manage to do it his way step by step. Very funny. The key is to get on his good side by participating, going to 'tutoring' afterschool, etc. The only things I didn't like were how he didn't pace himself (ended up teaching like 40% of the curriculum in the last week) and how he gave no room for other methods of solving problems. Large improvement means a lot to him

Lostal is a very eccentric teacher who has a passion for math and cares if his students actually learn. His enthusiasm and cultural references really brighten the class. He is not a typical teacher; he is more than that. If you discover his interior, you will find a grand and wise person.
Long live Sevilla.

For Mr Lostal: I love how you played baroque during our tests (love Air on G-String!) and reference Lord of the Flies. And your dramatic gestures, loud personality and how you can be deadly quiet when you need to be (a great comedian too!!). I love how you try to look everyone in the eye to make sure they’re paying attention (you forced us to get tutors and do our homework and not sleep in your class because you know that’s the best for us).
Always serving our master Math.

Mr. Lostal takes his job seriously, and it is apparent that some people don't respect that. His passion for math and history is unique and strong. His teaching methods,if people bother to listen, are top notch and unforgettable, making typically tedious things like memorizing formulas much easier. Do his worksheets! He never wastes a minute in class, and will take an extra minute or two past class only if he is sure it will help. Overall, he's the best math teacher I've ever had the honor of having.

Great teacher. He explains exercises thoroughly and if you actually did do the homework, you'd do well on the finals. Behind because he makes sure you understand. If he were given more time to teach, he'd be the best teacher.

He's a pretty great teacher as long as you participate often and get those "100"s, which is extremely simple. Never checks your homework though you really should do it because he makes him tests straight from the homework.
