this is probably the hardest cpush class i have taken and i would like to say "BRINDIN"
Probably the meanest teacher I have ever had in my life and made me very uncomfortable in her class. When I was going to college to become a teacher they asked me who I would not like to teach like and she was my example.
She is comparable to Joseph Stalin. Extremely strict and can seem like a heartless monster, but she runs a smooth and efficient class and in the end, you owe your 5 on the AP exam to her.
Honestly, she's a good teacher. It's just that she can be mean and demanding at times. She'll really help you prepare for the AP test.
She teaches her CP class as if it is an AP class - very hard and complex assignments. Nitpicky - more concerned about little details than with actual student learning. Assignments are not clear - she'll ask you to estimate an
picks way too many favorites. does not make herself available for students. she hates emails and slams students with questions.
omg its dore during the day she is relaxed and then kills us with hw in cp
Teaches CP History like a monster. She liked me because I knew some history coming into her class.
A lot of people bash on Mrs. Dore because of her strict, intimidating nature. However, she teaches very effectively and gets you the results you want. Just work hard in the class and you'll be fine.
APUSH II is a huge commitment, but almost 90% of the class gets 5's on their APs, it's obvious Dore knows her stuff, and will pull out the best in you by test time. She challenges students, but also very intimidating..
Gave a 3rd of her students detention for "cheating" on a dbq. By cheating, she means writing mental notes ("external info") on the docs every1 was told to take notes on. Then took 15 min cutting off the notes. Take regular.
Ms. Dore's class is challenging, but always interesting. I learn so much from her. She is a very nice person, very giving of her time. She is always willing to write college recommendations.
awesome teacher. she knows her materials. sometimes may seem harsh, but it's all reasonable. how else does the majority of her class get 5s on APs? awesome teacher she is.
Sometimes too harsh, but very knowledgable. GEts her point across, but may scare students a little.
Extremely large ego. Knows a lot about history, but knows that fact too. Is very opinionated, does not connect to students, and believes that her experience allows her to be right all of the time.
