I LOVE MRS HIGUCHI! well i love her in an i hate her way... im so happy in not in her class this year but im gonna miss her. If your ever confused go in for the hep sessions. it helps u and she normally brings good food that she shares :P also if u ever want to waist class time, bring up something about japan. she LOVES telling stories. for the tests study hard! also she give a lot of pop quizzes so be prepared. and after this year with her, uwill probably know all about Misa and Miki and Masako
Mrs. Higuchi is a really good teacher but she is REALLY strict. She is a really hard grader (other than on report cards), but all you have to do is study (every night because of the excessive pop quizzes) and do your homework. It also helps to go to the extra help sessions. I've also heard that you learn and understand japanese a lot better.
I don't like her. She gives way to much homework and expects you to know what you are doing even when she doesn't explain things well.
Mrs. Higuchi is an extremely strict teacher that gives a lot of homework. The work is very difficult but overall is very helpful. It is possible to do good in her class but that's only if you follow what she is telling you. (Not that many people do).
She was very strict, but helped me a ton. Although her tests can be very difficult Japanese 2 is a breeze after you have her. Just work hard and do your homework. If you don't understand a concept go
Good teacher, but very strict, a little confusing but you learn a lot. She had favorites, and her tests are really hard.
She prepared me well for Japanese Honors II in my freshman year. I am grateful that she was strict because I really learned.
tough, strict, not the nicest person, but dang, she knows her stuff. her class won't be the most fun, but garaunteed, you'll learn more than expected.
Mrs. Higuchi is an okay teacher but, she has her favorites in class and yells at you if you didn't hear the answer to one of the homework questions. for talking in class even if she's not talking
She makes worksheets that really help. We understand Japanese way better than the Kazama people. She forgets a lot so she thinks she taught you how to do something but she really didn't.
She's pretty strict when teaching, but otherwise she's the best Japanese teacher ever.
When I was in her class, I thought she was terrible, but she really does try help. She makes homework for you that actually helps you learn, unlike the simple workbook. Higuchi might be strict, but th
Tough but THE BEST Japanese teacher! She prepares her students extremely well. Higuchi students almost always score better than other students in later levels.
I love Higuchi! Best Japanese teacher I've ever had, except that she was really strict.
mean but she is helpful heres a hint go to afterschool help you get free food
She was really strict but I learned the most from her.
notes were confusing sometimes. it gets easier as the year goes along. she could be more clear at explaining things, and not be so strict, like about language lab and homework. has good and bad moods.
helpful with sentence patterns, strict, but you learn a lot in her class-- although: she occasionally gets mood swings that causes her to be in a REALLY bad mood. watch out for that. not fun at all.
nice teacher, teachs the characters with art, so it's eaiser. Sometimes gives pop quizzes.
great teacher..esp at teaching characters, unreasonable, and strict, but if ur on good side youll do fine. she doesnt try to fail you :)
She is a nice teacher, just study you characters and your vocab and you'll be fine.
Best teacher throughout 16 years of school. Yeah, she almost had me in tears a few times, too, but she cares about each student. She'll makes an otherwise impossible language learnable.
she is nice, fun, but strict, sometimes unreasonable, and hard.
Terrible. Favouritist, and she sent me home in tears more than once. Strict nothing, this lady is INSANE.
my favorite teacher of all time. encouraging, helpful, organized and funny. a little strict, but get over it
she hates the 7th grade purple class and likes the green...she likes the 8th grade red class :-p...shes cool
i look bak and i realize wut a gud teacher she was. crazy strict tho hehe :P
Now I see why you were so tough on us. "What's a Vaction??" :)
ez. just do wuts assigned and study daily and u get ur A [yeh i got 3 uv em]
Strict, but I learned a lot. Enabled me to go on to HS JPN and do well.
ALLERGIC TO FUNGI IN HER ROOM, BUT KEPT IT CAUSE IT WAS THE BIGGEST
