Best teacher I have ever had. She doesn't play favorites openly and is impersonal (how a teacher SHOULD BE!). I still hear her voice when I'm writing essays. Yes, she is scary, but she is the best at what she does. If you don't ever get to have Wallace, I feel sorry for you.
Currently in college and she is still one of the best teachers I have ever had. Caring teacher, parent that is scary, but filled with only the best of intentions.
She's absolutely wonderful. Definitely intimidating, but also truly kind and caring. Never had a teacher quite like her, and I feel lucky to have had her. She definitely knows her stuff and does a great job at effectively communicating all she knows. She's also hilarious in a really underrated way. Love her
What a teacher. I had her for AP English Language and Composition and I can definitely say ive never had a teacher quite like her. I have never gained so much from a class in my entire life. I entered with mediocre writing skills, and left with an understanding of rhetoric, and I had gained the ability to analyze and write. If you get into AP English in 11 grade and don't take it...youre a fool.
She is the greatest woman alive. She is extremely helpful and has taught me more than any other teacher I have ever had.
I am very glad I had her as a year this year. She is an amazing
Yes she's a hard grader. Yes there is a significant amount of work, but it is totally worth it. She truly care and you will learn a lot from her. I got an 100 on the regents because of her.
Wonderful, wonderful teacher. Should be an example for the whole profession.
terrifying and intimidating for most of the year, but absolutely PHENOMENAL teacher. she will whip your english into shape, challenge you, make you think, and make you a better person.
I don't know her because my brother has her and im only in alms but he won some english award ok im gonna stop cuz i really dont need to write this
shes a good teacher but shes really impersonal..it gets scary.
I had her when she was still in ALMS. She was amazing then, and is amazing now. She left a memorable impression in my mind.
im the dissenting opinion. i take creative writing. she gives an unnecessarily large amount of work. shes mean for no reason. a ridiculously unfair grader.
The Sackelman myth: a student gave her a paper a day late; she ripped it up and threw it in the garbage. Untrue. Best english teacher I've ever had.
Very challenging and tough grader. She pushes her students to do the best they can and loves what she does.
She's the best teacher i ever had...like life-changing
good teacher but she scares you into being a good student...but i learned a lot and did work for once.
hardest and BEST teacher ever!she knows her students extremely well and she'll scare you into doing your best, but it really is worth the blood sweat and tears
Not as hard as she pretends to be...just stay on her good side
the mood swings are an act, but if you don't mind theatrics and much work, you'll like sac. creative writing is a must-take.
She is tha BOM. The Jekyll and Hyde thing is great. But recently not so much Jekyll.Hint*: I tried to impress you with my vocabulary, but stunned you with my bs
She has split personalities. She's mean and bitter n the class room but the nicest person after school. What's up with that?
