Best teacher I have ever had. She doesn't play favorites openly and is impersonal (how a teacher SHOULD BE!). I still hear her voice when I'm writing essays. Yes, she is scary, but she is the best at what she does. If you don't ever get to have Wallace, I feel sorry for you.

She's absolutely wonderful. Definitely intimidating, but also truly kind and caring. Never had a teacher quite like her, and I feel lucky to have had her. She definitely knows her stuff and does a great job at effectively communicating all she knows. She's also hilarious in a really underrated way. Love her

What a teacher. I had her for AP English Language and Composition and I can definitely say ive never had a teacher quite like her. I have never gained so much from a class in my entire life. I entered with mediocre writing skills, and left with an understanding of rhetoric, and I had gained the ability to analyze and write. If you get into AP English in 11 grade and don't take it...youre a fool.

The Sackelman myth: a student gave her a paper a day late; she ripped it up and threw it in the garbage. Untrue. Best english teacher I've ever had.
