He gave TONS of extra credit and loved when you asked questions. Just go to tutorial and read the lessons before test and you'll get an A. I liked him SO SO SO SO much!

All you had to do was read the book every lesson and you can get an A. And ask him for help after class. He LOVESS that!

You do the same things over and over again. Makes you do everything his way. If you ask him for help during lunch or after school you'd not only get a good score on assignments, but he'd love you.

Absolutely fabulous teacher, knows what he's talking about (In regards to Alg2 and Geometry, at any rate). Willing to help, pretty funny. NOT the easiest, but you WILL LEARN.

I had him for 2/trig. He is an amazing teacher. Trust his methods and style bcuz you WILL NOT regret following him. The notes help, and the organization really aids in learning. Follow along = easy A.

He's AWESOME. You tells you HOW to get a grade you deserve and if you follow his system it's a guarenteed A, I assure you. Super helpful teacher and cares about his students a lot.

a pinow his tests require cture, work, and other things that i don't even know. before i had 110%, but know i have a C. i hate that he does not tell us how he grades and that we don't correct tests.

he's a good teacher. knows wat he's doing since he's been teaching since '69 or somthin like that. i like that his tests r all multiple choice. you can get extra credit. it helps. very boring though

LOVE HIM. LOTS of hard work; BE FLEXIBLE, follow his system and seek help. He is incredibly dedicated and cares a lot for students. work hard and he'll respect you.

He really wants to help you learn "quality math", which is good, but his methods are too rigid. He wants every line of your problem to look exactly like his, and can't seem to accept alternative solutions. He also disses other math teachers, parents, and tutors :(

First day of school... "All you've learned till now has been garbage." WTH?? Horrible teacher, and he expects that every student aligns to his way of math. He needs to learn that different students have different needs and that we are not all gonna be like math addicts when we grow up.

Great teacher. Makes you understand the concepts really well. As for grades, if you're smart and pay attention, an A is easy to get. If you don't make an effort, you will not succeed in his class.

BEST.TEACHER.EVER. really knows his stuff, and gives so much extra credit you have to be really dumb to get a B or worse. If you dont have him, transfer into his class! so many empty seats from idiots who transfered out

The algebra 2/trig class covered alot of material. With lots of tests, and lots of points per tests, students can build up good grades, or recover from a low grade. Mr. Powers helped when asked.

easy A if you do what he says but doesn't teach.His class tends to be just memorizing CN's and format.If you ask him for help he'll tell you to read the CN again.Hope you sit next to someone smart. definitely plays favorites.

will only like you if math is your life. if you don't (or can't) go to office hours because of other things (ie sports, activities), he'll penalize you. Definitely plays favorites. Switch if you can.

As long as you follow his CN's word by word. As long as you do the work exactly like he does it. You'll get an 'A', maybe over 100%. As long as you show work and show work correctly. You'll get an 'A'.

Very Funny. :D Good at teaching. Learned a lot. Memorize the way he does the problems (step for step, and every single detail is important). Then you'll get a good grade. ^^

Math teaching by rote teaching, not visually. Does not allow to solve problems differently. For audio learners, not visual types. Dedicates tremendous extra time to tutor students.
