I took AP Physics 1. Mr. Plett doesn't teach squat - the majority of kids fail the AP exam each year, and the school was considering removing AP Physics 1 because so many kids fail. There's no textbook in the class (he recommends you one online, but never references it in class), so there's no structure to the course. He's really knowledgable about physics but his teaching is HORRIBLE. If you're thinking of taking AP Physics 1, I wouldn't recommend it. It's basically a self-study class
Just a great person. A very understanding teacher. You might have to get extra help, but he is always available.
He is overall probably the easiest teacher to talk to at Serra. He can explain almost anything so that u can understand it, and if u do well, he's eager to to tell you so. The material in regular physics isn't that challenging, but through his minimal use of power points and more of a focus on projects, he has grown into my favorite teacher at Serra. Also has a great sense of humor.
ERIC PLETT AND DEAN BAIRD (and sometimes Paul G. Hewitt) are the greatest men to ever walk this earth
nice and fun guy. I think he likes what he does. STRING THEORY RULES!
