Very good at Latin but not teaching. He teaches us how to answer his multiple choice tests rather than how to understand Latin. He curves the tests massively, and blatantly allows cheating in his class. I couldn't construct a sentence in Latin for you even if my life depended upon it. He can be fun at times though. Bene.

No idea what is going on in class. Scales our tests by 50 points or so. Usually ask myself why I am in his class half the time. Love his class though.

Easy because tests are scaled to a 85% unless the average is above, just learn the vocab and its a easy A.

His honors latin 1 class is great, it's though only if don't pay attention in class. He is strict if your class misbehaves, his sense of humor is a bit dry. Do well on the test and you will be fine.

Eugene Baron is an extremely strict teacher who rarely explains anything, but expects you to know it, without him teaching it.

Nice guy but is probably one of the worst teachers I have ever had. If you are taking Latin, switch to Soloman. Kids hold up solid 95s in Soloman and get 70s in Baron.

You know there is a problem when you have to scale your tests thirty points every time. You have to teach yourself the language. Solomon is a hundred times better.

Had him for three years....really nice guy, with a really dry sense of humor...all of his classes except his AP class are really easy (ridiculously scaled tests etc.). Can be sort of dull at times.

Mr. Baron is a great guy. Probably one of the nicest you will ever meet. However his class is impossible if you have not taken Latin in middle school.

This man is a genius. His class is only easy if you've taken Latin in middle school. Plus, he scales his tests about forty points.
