The most hard-working, but under-appreciated good teacher in CHS!!
Some students who bad-mouth here are the students who didn't get there easy A.
REMEMBER Put your effort and EARN YOUR GOOD GRADE!!
Ms. Chao is a very hard working teacher. As long as you have the actual interest to learn and you're not just there to pass time in school and just try to get through the period and get home, you'll do fine. She is also very motivational and supporting. Don't listen to the people that say you just listen to tapes all day. That is not true. We get the book, practice verbally, listening, and have lots of interactions that help you remember the material. Also, you can trade passes for snacks. :) :)
Mrs. Chao offer tutoring after school, all you need to do is make an appointment with her. she stays after school almost everyday.
In Chinese program about 90% of students earned A and B, a small percent of students earn C or D; about 10% students check out the program and select other elective classes each year. 10% students cause 90% discipline problre
sweet person, bad teacher. i like her class tho, she makes it easy for us.
mrs chao might not be the best teacher but she will always try to make sure you learn
Her morals as a human being are good. Her skills as a teacher are poor.
ummm she has her days, i just avoid her and do my own thing SILENTLY and she doesn't bother me...it all works out
you hate her for her accent, or how she gives blue slips like candy. but honestly, shes pretty nice. She hated me with a passion, but i dont want to judge her. it was my fault for not showing up to class and being disrespectful so overall. she isnt a great teacher, but her class is easy, and shes really nice
you get to do homework in class legally as long as you know your stuff. Good teacher although she should really correct her pronounciations so she doesn't mislead the students. Why does people hate her, just be more polite to her and she will treat you good. Try to make friends with her. !
I'm an alumni, and thanks to Mrs. Chao, I went to an Ivy League school and now I live in a mansion in Beverly Hills!
she's a very nice teacher, but she simply can't teach.
She doesn't help non-native speakers much. Which makes her class hard.. I like the number of videos you get to see though.
Her class is a bit hard (the strokes part). Everything else is ok. Her accent is annoying though, but you'll get used to it. She can't control the class either.
changed so much this year, a lot easier, still not approachable though. at least she's making the orals a video!
Mrs. Chao is a good teacher, only because I was on her good side. The class is easy if you study, but then again, you should study in all classes anyways
ms chau is a great teacher. she is willing to help anyone who asks. i think alot of the students in her class are just lazy and expect the teacher to do all the work.
to me she is nice and i received A's in her class, but she doesn't really know how to teach. only relies on books and movies. not very creative in teaching
shes cool but she likes to talk alot. she keeps saying "if you fail to plan you plan to fail." we know that by now ms chou thanks!
Through the past three years of being in her class, it has been wonderful. Constantly giving us social and academic advice, Mrs. Chao is one of the best.
I love Mrs. Chao! She's a great teacher and wonderful human being.
she seems nice, but she does have her favorites. she's really unfair at times, too. can't really control class, or teach -_-
Ms. Chao is a personality grader. She has favorites in the class, often times students have to find ways to acheive an A. Overall the class is easy IF YOU STUDY
She was alright, I dont see why alot of students disliked her.
