Very confusing, disorganized teacher. Most people start off at first finding him hilarious (albeit not taking him seriously) and by the time they take more of his tests and prepare for finals they start hating him. He is not the best teacher but he offers lots of extra credit at the end of the semester (bc we all need it) so take advantage of that
He is the cutest, funniest human being you'll ever meet. He gives out a lot of extra credit at the end of the year, so don't worry too much about your test grades. Participate lots! I hated him at first, but in retrospect, he wasn't too bad. Self-studying is key.
He tries, and he's funny. You guys are all so mean :(
No one takes him seriously.
No one pays attention in class because everyone knows they'll learn more on their own at home than from him.
His tests should be easy, but everyone fails because no one understands anything.
He takes 10 minutes taking attendance/collecting homework/giving back paperwork.
Class time is wasted because he gives out participation points every two seconds.
Funny guy, horrible teacher.
He's a really funny guy but a terrible teacher. His accent isn't really hard to understand. His tests aren't that difficult, but because he literally doesn't teach, the class usually ends up with 70 test averages. However, its rally easy to get your average up. He allows homework corrections, an infinite amount of extra credits, and many take home tests. If you try, you'll easily get a 90+ but you won't learn much at all
He is the most funny and adorable physics teacher in Stuy. If you are good in math and bother to do some textbook reading on your own, you are set for a 100 in his class. I don't understand the bad ratings he gets. All of my friends and I love him! BIG STAR EVERYBODY!
He is awful. I leave his room every day wanting to put him out of his misery. Everything he does is meant to make his students' lives hard. People get into arguments all the time with him; he is the most unreasonable person you'll ever come across. Honestly, good luck with him, he's truly despicable. Ew.
In short, he does not teach, gives homework that students struggle on, terrible in general, and im out of words describing him.
Once you get past understanding his accent, the class is super easy. You have to learn everything yourself but his exam questions are all regents questions. He gives homework and quizzes but as long as you sit near someone smart, it's very easy wink wink. Won't write a teacher rec unless you get above a 95 on the regents though. He is very helpful and willing to explain any questions you have if you find him after school of after class. Definitely not the best physics teacher though.
He's a nice guy but easily bullied by his students. People were singing I Want It That Way in class and he can't control it. They write profanity and draw 'rockets' on the back board.
Likes to crack slapstick jokes, holds two contradictory rules so he can use either one against your favor whenever he wants. Picks favorites. Average teaching ability, horrible teaching methods.
He is a very nice guy. To actually do well, you have to pay attention, which can be hard sometimes.
this guy has been in this country long enough to learn english already.
Mr. Majewski is awesome! Do well on tests and you are set. Dont forget about those big stars too!
He doesn't teach and can't control the class. I simply just asked him for a grade raise at the end of the semester, to which he said yes. Also, he's hilarious.
Doesn't really have much control over the class, but he is aware of who is cheating or whatever, so even if you "do well" on tests, it's more of your behavior and dedication that'll reflect on your report grades. Don't cheat.
Had him for physics lab--write neatly in pencil and you will get straight 10s. Have to love the accent. XD
omg i love mr.majewski! Big plus, big plus! He's so funny and like a big teddy bear.
brilliant teacher, but hes hard. and you have to love his polish accent
if u can get into his ap class phys c class. come to class everyday and get free 100. you will def fail the ap test tho unless u study yourself but who cares, colleges wont know.
Kind of hard teacher. He is incredibly smart, co-author of this huge volume on physics. Like many of Stuyvesant teachers, his brilliance does not help him as a teacher.
understands physics very well but is not capable of teaching to a level appropriate for the avg high school student, excellent AP teacher
i wish he was my physics teacher and not just my lab teacher hes explains things in a way that .. learning diasabled people liek me can understand.
