Ms. Guan is a very kind person who teaches very well. She cares about all her students and hope they all do well.
Ms. Guan is one of my favorite teachers! She is really understanding and nice. She doesn't give much homework but there's guaranteed a test or quiz every week (or so). She encourages her students to do their best and really cares about them.
Really good teacher. I Lover her. had her 2 years straight so far and will be having her again next year. she's gives out good grades and teaches well. very patient with students. you'll be really lucky to have her. my favorite teacher yet.
She is a great teacher, she is very lenient with grades and provides a lot of help for struggling students!
I love Mrs. Guan, she's super nice and generous with grading. ;)
Ms. Guan is a great teacher. She really helps, especially if you are non-native or if its sorta obvious. Yu is not as great, she seems not to be as organized either. I got good grades from Guan, but I dont know about Yu.
Nice, good paced and very helpful for kids in her chinese class makes me wish i had ms Guan over ms Yu.
For non-natives you pay extra attention to you. She is a easy grader and really nice.
she does concentrate on the non asians and i understand that she really wants her students to do well and, after she recognizes you, will sometimes stop you in the hallway to chat in chinese and check ur progress
Guan is a good teacher but is not as strict as tan but she very kind when grading. Guan was more specific toward grammar while tan is specific toward tones and vocabulary. Yu is unless.
thing is tan teaches but grades hard, guan teaches but grades easily..yu does not teach and can't even speak english...i miss ms. guan =/ very easy teacher
Spends too much time on students who'll probably never speak Chinese fluently, but other than that, she's a great teacher.
Best Chinese teacher I've ever had! She doesn't always explain higher level grammar and sometimes caters too much to the slower students, but a great teacher! I'll miss her!
She's very nice and alot better than Mr.Tan, but she teaches too slow.
really nice person. if she knows you don't speak mandarin fluently, she WILL pick on you.
if you're not a native speaker, she'll be mad nice to you...but if you are one, that's a different story!
