I miss singing songs in her class! And walking around school singing Christmas carols. Those were the days. :D
I had her for spanish. She teaches well but is totally insane. She talks to her chile pepper Pepe who hangs from the ceiling and bangs her head on the blackboard. She's a very entertaining teacher.
I think she's a very devoted Spanish teacher and tries to make class funny and educational. I've learned more in one semester of her Spanish class than I did in my 5 years taking Spanish in elementry and middle school.
When I was there, she was the chess coach.. I enjoyed her dedicated to the students.
in her "advanced" spanish class she keeps telling us that we're further behind than her regular span. classes. Why? because she goes off on these tangents about things that have nothing to do with speaking spanish! worst span. teacher ever!
the duffinator: best addition to the first floor. oh yah, she named her kid duffy.
Mrs. Duffy makes the class fun. Spark Notes stink and won't really help you in her class. She gathers books of all types of styles, 'A Tale of Two Cities' ROCKED! *I would underline it but it won't let me. Sorry Ms. Duffy, EARTHWORMS LIVE FOREVER!
She has a freaking toy bird that she talks to...the lady is insane...in a good way I guess
I don;t know why people don't like Ms. Duffy. I LOVED her English class. We read books that I liked, had discussions, did real vocab...definitely a great class.
This was far and away the worst English class imaginable.
I always felt bad-her students pick on her relentlessly. If they had any desire to learn ANYTHING, it would not be difficult.
This ladee wuz duh best Eenglish teecher evur. She learned me how to speel real good. And rite, two.
