He barely teaches. We're expected to learn everything ourselves, which just does not work. Nothing against him as a person, but not a good teacher. Almost makes me reconsider coming to BUA.
Hardly teaches. Focuses too much on group work. Refuses to answer any questions. I went into physics very excited and he almost ruined my experience. BU is much better.
Gary Garber knows a lot about ROBOTICS. He is unhelpful when you ask questions, he just does the problem out and expects you to understand. EVERYTHING you must learn on your own. He is unclear with everything. He tries to be quirky and fun, and that is all he is. Gary Garber does not help you understand the material. He just cares about the robotics kids, and only favors the smart kids. I do not recommend him at all.
He's a fun person but he doesn't really help much.
Very fun as a person, tries to do a reverse classroom technique. Fails horribly. Have to learn everything yourself
Mr. Garber cares more about robotics. I guess he understands physics, but he's a really horrible teacher. This interlace thing needs to go, and he needs to to be fired. There are way better physics teachers.
although he provides a better understanding of concepts by demonstrating them, his teaching skills are very lacking in strength...i taught myself physics by reading the textbook.
Tries hard to make sure everyone get's it. That includes posting the notes from every class online, and sometimes making recordings of himself teaching.
He is a very good teacher, However, you have to be interested in physics yourself to appreciate him
garber is so cool and everyone really likes him.. but for those of us who aren't so good at physics, it's basically a learn-from-the-text-book course, because what he scribbles on the board makes zero sense 99% of the time.
His class is easy, but his biggest problem is his unfairness. He has a huge tendency to favor people who join his extra curriculars.
if you aren't science obsessed, he doesn't really relate to you...it's hard to find him to ask for help and he doesn't explain the concepts very well.
Mr. Garber is an amazing physics teacher. He cares about what he does and is always willing to explain concepts in greater detail. His room is a lot of fun to hang out in, too.
I love Mr. Garber, and Physics was wonderful, but Multivariable is HARD and a LOT of work, so definitely think hard about whether or not you can commit to the class (and 2 hours of homework a night at LEAST) before taking it,
Mr. Garber knows fizix and knows how to teach it and make it fun. Moo. Bump. soccer=trig. 20 to Ravenclaw please?
Mr Garber is AWESOME, he makes phiziks phun, even if you're not that into science. (Mr. Garber, if you're reading this could Ravenclaw have some points, say 30? Soocer makes us think of trigonomentry)
AWSOME TEACHER! I LEARNED A LOT THIS YEAR!!(250 pts to Hufflepuff)
He is the BEST teacher at BUA. Such a hard worker and has a great heart
SL/CU is amazing. he has an extraordinary sense of humor. i actually understand what he talks about in class. by far my favorite teacher.(25 pts to Gryffindor)
garber rules, best teacher evveeeeeeerrrrrr, makes learning physics really fun!!!
He is a great teacher for both physics and multivar. His joking approach to physics lets everyone in the class grasp the concepts.
Really nice guy, physics is quite hard, though. He is a very clear teacher, always willing to help, and always has a sarcastic sense of humor.
AWESOME guy...never forget the time he fell ten feet while using pulleys to get him up the stairs...
The funniest teacher ever. Go Ninja Hamster! (Mr. Garber, if you're reading this, can you give 30 points to Hufflepuff?)
Occasionally scary or threatening, but a great, fun teacher.
He'd be better and happier off teaching an AP or college physics course.
Garber's awesome and his room has lots of toys. He makes me almost enjoy math.
He is the coolest teacher i have, objectively, but sometime he is less than nice. he's funny though, and makes it fun to learn.
Rewally good physics teacher, but not so great at teaching math. At least he knows what hes teaching though, unlike most of the other math teachers here
He is really just a fun guy who loves to have fun with physics. He uses props and his eccentric personallity to make the subject fun and the class exciting.
Rockin' guy, but it's a bit difficult for him to teach physics to people who are bad at math. Still rocks, and always explains everything as best he can.
garber is the man. yay for garber. yay for supercrest.
