He knows the material and subject well, but he can't teach. He has made an already boring and tedious subject much worse. I had to self study my way through the class. He's very nice, but if he gets ticked off, then he does get a bit passive aggressive. He doesn't check homework for his honors classes, but unless you already know the material, DO THE HOMEWORK. In his lectures, he tries to always find new ways to do concepts, but ends up confusing the entire class.
Mr.Ledger is nice and loves math but cannot focus on teaching the class. Instead, he goes off trying off new methods which confuses the class making everyone have to study on their own.
Mr. Ledger is very nice and has good intentions. However, he is an awful teacher bc he always gets extremely off topic and wastes time in class. His lectures are very boring, and he has very poor time management. He does not explain the concepts well, as he gives a lot of irrelevant information. In fact, Ledger does not know the material well, bc he always gets confused in the middle of teaching. His grading system is really weird and confusing too, and I do not think it's efficient.
I had Mr. Ledger for Honors Algebra 2 my sophomore year. While it's clear that he's very knowledgeable, he seems to have a hard time communicating his thoughts and teaching the material effectively, so I highly recommend self studying. He constantly makes mistakes during lessons and on tests and attempts to experiment with different teaching methods, but they never really work out. He's a very nice person though!
Me. Ledger is a great guy and i actually learned a lot from him.
I had Mr. Ledger for Honors Algebra 2 last year, and I can honestly say that what I learned from him was minimal. Most of Algebra 2 was review anyway so it was okay. He can't teach, but I really appreciate the effort he puts into his notes and students. He makes so many mistakes in his lectures and online quizzes, so you just sit there confused. In the end, I was manage to earn over 100% in his class with all his extra credit. It was a great period for studying and doing other homework.
I hate his class.. too much homework and online quizzes..I don't have time for this! I have other classes too and it frustrates me. His always cheery attitude also annoys me. His notes are confusing and he doesn't explain things asmuchas he should.F!
Mr. Ledger actually teaches legit methods if you listen the only reason why peple don't learn is because he's not authroritative but he definitely does know his stuff.
= = he's the worst teacher ever. he gives tons of homework and u never understand his notes, because there're many typos on it. And his writings on the board are ugly and u can't see if u seat very far away from the board. He doesn't explain the problem well. His jokes are not funny... everyone in per.0 basically fall asleep or ditch
Mr. ledger.. yeah hes a nice guy, he helps when you ask , but im sorry you dont teach very well.. you always criticize people for talking when really, we all talk about the lesson, the lesson that you do not know how to teach. our test and quiz grade is 75 percent of the grade and you give hours of hw everyday thats worth nothing.
Super nice guy, and a little dorky. He really wants you to learn. As long as you print the notes, pay attention, and don't talk too much in class, it's an easy A.
im from his 2011-2012 pr3 class and i love ledger! hes rly cool, funny, and he teaches well too! just be respectful and don't talk in class, and you'll be fine. he gives you lots of advice and stuff. great teacher
he's a sweet guy and fun to tlk to but he really cant teach very well. math is my worst subject and it screwed me over to have him.
really nice guy, fun/enjoyable class, long homework. very helpful, ask questions, he rewards you!
ledger is nice and all, but he seriously seems to have favorites. He gave this one person a higher grade just because he liked that person more. no lie.
He's a great Algebra 2 teacher. Ver helpful. He really prepares you for the test. I like his class a lot.
I had him for Algebra 2, and I did pretty well. But then I decided to take Stats, and boy is that my biggest regret this year. I become more confused everyday and study on my own. He can't teach Stats
he is really nice and he actually talk to you and make sure u understand the lesson , however...i dun think he really knows how to teach
i think Mr.Ledger is a really nice teacher. You can really tell he loves math and loves teaching it. i have stats with him and you have to pay attention in order to get the subject.
he really doesn't teach. it takes him like 20 minutes to go around stmaping everyone's paper. his bellringers are kinda lame. he does not teach at all. EXTREMLEY boring. ...
LOL!!!!! ah............ ledger's ledger, he tries hard so i give him props LOL, but he gets on my nerve sometimes for real
He's not the best teacher at TC, but he really tries, and he's a super nice guy.
Ledger is one of the teachers who cares the most about his students. It is sad that people don't respect him when he tries so hard to make sure that his students learn. He is a very nice person.
Odd... Peculiar.... But a good teacher non the less.
what's wrong with you people? Mr. Ledger is the nicest teacher ever. it sucks that nobody respects him, it's not an easy job.
i know he loves his job but he teaches WAY to fast. i payed attention in class but i was still confused. he was very unclear.
He is very patient. He spends half the class time going over the homework. He teaches so slowly that he has to rush at the end. He is a nice person and is always willing to help...
very helpful guy but kids don't give enough respect. Kids who kind his class hard are the ones who probably dont pay attention or the homework.
Man..this guy has got to go, he doesn't even know what he's teaching. He makes at least 10 mistakes daily, and rushes the material. I learn more from my classmates than him. BAD!
I actually think he's a great teacher who's loyal and dedicated and spends a lot of effort. His test are well thought out, and he trusts us a lot.
Mr. Ledger is a little hard to get used to, but once you do, you'll love him.
Sadly he's still teaching. He may know math, but that's still debatable. He can’t teach, makes mistakes throughout class, so by the time you leave his class you’re more confused than ever. If you must take Stats, make sure you have the time to teach yours
he couldn't teach Algebra 2 well, how can he teach Stats any better?
he is very helpfull and if any of you took the time and effort you would think so too. And by the way no teacher should let you use profanity!!!
I was his T.A. for two years, and I have to say, he's good.
i dont know, he couldn't teach very well , his class was most of the time out of control. and he gets mad at the students for being loud, he needs to have order
He is a good teacher, very helpful, but needs to keep control of his class a little more.
