He was hard, he made you start working on thnext chapter after you just finished your test, but he was willing to help me when I struggled. College math was a breeze and he had a lot to do with it. :)
I had him when I was a senior in high school. I struggled through his class, but when I took Cal1 and Cal2 in college it was a breeze, and I think his teaching had alot to do with it.
Has a very "beyond-high-school" style of teaching. May be hard for some to grasp, but great class for higher-level thinkers. For mature students who enjoy learning.
At the time I took him, he was also teaching night classes at a college. He expected his freshman math students to work on a college level. Not sure how he is now.
Going to McCue's class was like signing my own death certificate. He's easy to distract, try talking about baseball or basketball, those were our favorites...
