only math class ive ever had trouble in. she moves at the right pace but shes not good at explaining things. its my worst class
I really liked Ms. Williams. She doesn't mess around. Although her class is kind of boring, she is a really good teacher. The key is to ask her if you get lost, because she goes fast.
Denise and I are great friends. I was in her pre-calc last year and I saw her at a restaurant one time and she was really nice. She was a utah jazz dancer and she's really chill. Best at Sunset? Yes
she knows her stuff. i don't think she likes teaching..but she is helpful if impatient. smart
um, the class is waaay too fast. calculus is supposed to be easier than ms williams class, and she's nice when you work with her one on one but she doesn't teach the subject well.
Hope my kids have a teacher with as much patience and knowledge as Dennis. Wish I could track him down as it's been 15 years since I graduated Sunset.
If you fail a test in her class, you're doomed. Pre-calc went so quickly and it didn't seem like she knew how her class was doing.
She was nice, and I had no problems with her, but I've always liked math and find it easy anyway, so... yeah. Lots of homework, but with a block schedule, it's expected.
she is tough, but it's only to help us. I wish she weren't so strict.
She likes to blame everything on her students and is no help when you go in for help.
she seems a bit high on herself, knows material, can't explain it, blames you for it
she knows her stuff...just has a hard time communicating that
Great teacher. Flexible homework policy, and very helpful. Uses creative methods to teach the class.
pre-calc is BAD. nice person but makes class difficult to understand. Ineffective teaching style by checking homework for 15 min and blaming us for wasting time
confident, but biting personality. tends to explain hard problems well, but people misunderstand the easy explanations. at her rate we'll actually finish book
Her teaching level is as absurdly bad as Kristi Miller, but at least she's nice about it, albeit clueless
yeah he's much better than the other dw, talk about an easy going teacher and helpful
she doesnt seem to have the same math understanding as some others, and puts a very high emphasis on tests. Nevertheless, the class isnt terrible.
Hilarious. Also really wants students to learn and is always up for trying new teaching methods. For example, scavenger hunt in calculus anyone??
He teaches in a way that everyone will be able to learn. If someone doesn't get it, he will change his style to help them. Best teacher in my book.
The guy rules and lets me learn math how i want to. I can listen if I want to his very instructional(mono-tone!) lectures.
Lot's of homework but she knows what she's talking about.
Cool guy, hilarious. Not so great of a teacher, but he'll take lot of time to explain stuff if you dont get it.
having a monotone voice, you would think that he would be boring and not funny. Not true. His hilaroius, he just doesn't know it. Good teacher too
Funny, Will help you if you ask him. Doesn't like lobsters
Decent teacher. Puts too much emphasis of HW. Had her for pre-calculus and she seemed like that she was learning the math as we were.
