Mr. Wright is the man. He taught me more my sophomore year than all my other teachers combined. Too bad he's retiring though :(

He made me love biology and prepares you very well for jr year. Don't listen to the people who think he's impossible, he is one of the best teachers possible and you are very lucky if you get him.

A funny, though not necessarily motivating teacher. I felt he should have given us more labs, since we did very few in the second semester, (until we got to the fetal pigs).

I think students are expecting every teacher to just be easy and give them the A...Mr. Wright is a very knowledgeable man who's willing to help. That is what makes a great teacher

I agree, those who dislike him just can't hack it, and are bitter. He keeps his class interesting, and is willing to admit it when he doesn't know something.

The complaints come from kids who can't hack his class, can't abide by school rules and can't except responsibility for their actions so they blame George(try being mature), or that couldn't learn from him (the only plausible gripe). Mr. Wright is great.

He is a great science teacher. Disorganized: Yes. Difficult: Yes. On the other hand, he's also very knowledgeable about the subject matter he teaches and he makes his lectures enjoyable. You won't be cruising through Hilgartner, but you'll learn more.
