Armstrong is literally the best student I've had in high school. I had him for Calculus BC last year, and he was always available to help me through problems that I've had. Despite what you might hear about him favoring guys, I'm a girl and haven't been negatively affected by any such experience. The Saturday help sessions are the BEST and extremely helpful. He prepares you well for in-class tests, and the AP exam. If you work hard, you will do well in his class.
Mr. Armstrong is tough, but a very good teacher. He pushes students to do their work and do well in the class. He's always there to help anyone after school or on weekends.
Honestly, didn't like him at first, but after two years of consecutively having him as a teacher he grew on me.
If you are serious about learning, you will be find. Do your homework everynight
If you are taking any math over Algebra, he is more helpful. I had him for math analysis & AP Calc, & i passed both with a B. I even passed the AP test with a 4! but he hates his Algebra classes.
You'll do well in his class if you're really serious about succeeding and learning the material. He generally doesn't like going over things twice so you can't always count on him to be there for you.
HARD teacher. Although he does love the subject he teaches, he can be a little too oldfashion, and often doesn't care about some students. If you are willing to go far above and beyond then hes ok.
He's a great teacher if your in honors or AP, but if you get him for Algebra I, your screwed. He is always talking down about his Algebra I students in our class.
He's pretty cool. However, he is sometimes very irresponsible. His class is actually very easy, but he never goes over the materials twice. Also, he has a tendency to make fun of algebra 1 students.
omg. i like this class he can be very funny @ times and very boring @ others.. hes pretty cool. even tho he doesnt know my name but still..
I think he's a really good teacher. I think he's a bit disorganized and irresponsible, but overall, his class was great for me.
If you are willing to work you'll learn math. He's a good teacher who won't allow you to take short cuts that hurt you later.
hes a pretty cool guy if u stay on his good side.he tells a lot of stories about his personal life.if ur not willing to put in the time and effort for ur hw then dont bothr taking his class.hes pretty alright
i think he's an oldfashioned type teacher so if you're not willing to put in the time to EARN you're grade then don't bother..he's not going to give you an A u have to earn it.
e sucks he does one problem one way then the net day he does it differently its hard and if he doesn't explain all of the homework he still gives you homework and lets you figure it out by your self
he's a pretty cool guy. if u play tennis, big plus for you :). he takes his jokes too far every once in a while, but dont let it get to you too much.
This guy is bad news. He does not work well with others.
Way too hard. Way too much homework. A lot of students fail.
he makes an extra effort to make sure you know what your doing....goes out of his way to help you...he follows all guidelines for what a real teacher should be.
takes his jokes way too far and seems to kinda have stopped teaching all of a sudden. right ok...so occassionally he's an ok teacher but not that great.
