People either love his class or hate it, but there's no denying that he knows his stuff. He tells some great stories too, if you're willing to listen. He teases, but don't take it too seriously. If you go in with an open mind, prepared to work and ready to learn, you'll be ok.
Pinnau is quite possibly the worst, most frustrating teacher I have ever had. He CLEARLY has favorite students and does nothing to hide it. He claims that these students are the ones he "trusts and admires the most since they have proved it to [him]." HAH! Newsflash, "DOCTOR" Pinnau— these students all openly cheat on your assignments behind your back.
He frequently is too busy to even teach us the material, and we often do busy work or watch boring movies. Hated his class.
Simply the most hardcore professor I've ever met. Once he talked 7 hours straight about the dangers of reptilian shapeshifters (wasn't on the quiz but still cool). Good teacher if you overlook that he puts queso in that coffee he's always drinking. Learned a lot from him (mostly how to think like a scholar)
Dr. Pinnau has been the best teacher I have ever had. He knows how to control his students, is willing to help, and overall has the most fun class at Marian. He has made the best of us more scholarly.
Mr. Pinnau is a really good teacher. He makes class really interesting, and it's not too bad if you do the homework. He's really dedicated too.
He prepared me for the AP exam and forced me to do more than I thought I could. I am more ready for college because of his class.
Mr. P is definately the best teacher I had at marian
Mr. Pinnau is one of the smartest people I've met. His classes have been my favorites. He has the greatest sense of humor and really cares about his students.
His classes are great if you actually do the homework, take great lecture notes, and copy down the quizzes.
