Phenomenal teacher; demanding, dedicated and fair.
i was in gleen vandervliets history class my junior year at nmh. that was almost 20 years ago. i remember his energy and curiosity to be amazing. he is eccentric in a really cool way and really, really into learning and teaching. i do rememebr that he was really organized in an eccentric way : ) but i loved it. grat times. he is serious but he is also someone who truly loves what he does and loves to teach. i highly recommend.
I learned so much from this man. He expected much from his students but was willing to give even more. He embodied the VERY BEST qualities in a teacher.
I went to NMH from 1994-1995. Mr. Vandervliet taught me a course each semester. He was one of the most caring, dedicated, loyal, and professional teachers I have ever come across.
Glenn Vandervliet is one of few teachers I remember very well--and always will. He embodied the spirit of NMH.
In 1976-7, Glenn taught to an academic standard higher than personality or whim. He respected his students. They respected him.
Easily one of the most brilliant folks at NMH. His classes are rarely easy, but always, VERY educational. He deserves a bldg or sandwhich named after him.
spit his lectures right back and you'll be fine. good teacher, only guy to ever give me an A+.
Straight arrow of a teacher. Very nitpicky, but I learned a lot in his classes.
