I had Mrs. Grabelle (of course, before she retired). I had her just for Reading (novels and stories) and not English (grammar and writing). Her class was brutal but fair. The thing is, I did not learn anything. In her reading class (I don't know about English), she didn't really teach much. She expected you to be in her English class (which was far ahead of the other classes), and if you weren't, you were at a disadvantage. DO YOUR HOMEWORK! And if you have her for Reading but not English, good luck! J Kode
I actually cried when I did her hw and was near tears in class several times, but looking back, she was a GREAT teacher and all her methods stuck, like spelling the word: Definitely ;p
SHE RETIRED!! I NEVER HAD HER BUT I HEARD SHES STRICT BUT YOU CAN LEARN A LOT
Grabelle was an excellent teacher even though she's very hard. She could have cut us some slack every now and then but she doesnt. Just stick through it and make sure you study.
She may seem mean but she is a very good teacher. She actually really isn't all that bad once you get used to it.
can be pretty mean and unflinching (an image she seems proud of) but her teaching is mediocre - why are we learning this stuff? class is pointless
One of the best teachers I have ever had. She's tough, but you learn so much. By the way, it's spelled Grabelle.
