Mrs. Collins was a GREAT and WONDERFUL teacher and one of the nicest ladies I have ever met. It's a shame LHS lost her.
Mrs. Collins was very good with showing examples. She sometimes took an hour just to get us through the warm-ups, but compared to many of the other math teachers, she's a really good one to get.
Well she doesnt teach. Nice person but doesnt teach...at all. Makes you learn from the book. We had a sub and i learned more from the sub than mrs. Collins
I liked the class due to the fact that she inflates the grades with homework. I did my homework and my grade went up one letter. I found her classes easy to understand.
She's so nice, too bad she has NO IDEA WHAT SHE IS DOING. I haven't known what's been going on for like two months, but every time I ask she just laughs and WALKS AWAY. USELESS.
Collins is sweet and good-intentioned, but she's not very helpful. I'd do as well just reading the book.
Good sense of humor and seems to know how to do the math she teaches. I just don't like all the homework. PreCal is pretty hard though...
Well, I like her, she's the only one of two math teacher's I've had at LHS that actually taught me something. She's good-natured, and will help if you ask.
Shes is super...I'm still using stuff she taught me now that I'm at UCLA...thanks Mrs. Collins!
If you ask for help she will give it--if you try, she will notice--she let me retake several tests which i appreciated..doesn't explain well tho.
Algebra 2 is ok, but she's hard to understand. I could just read the book and figure out the stuff she shows us rather than have to listen to her all period.
she explains nothing leave blanks but doesnt let you thinks having two collums is hard to follow so she gives you a 0 grr ill post stuff daily
She is a nice lady and a good teacher but she needs to start telling us exactly what hw to turn in.
Mrs. Collins is the nicest math teacher at Livermore, and taught Precalculus somewhat alright. She means well though.
WHAT EXTRA HELP!!!!!!!!! You need to GET extra help after having Collins "teach" you, she's as coherent as a babbling brook!
I find it annoying when she makes jokes and she's the only one laughing, but i am learning from her and understand the precal material.
lots of people dont like Mrs. Collins, but of the four math teachers I've had shes been the best. LHS's math department isnt the greatest, so she's not so bad
Mrs Collins is very unpopular with the students because she is NOT easy. She keeps a hard schedule to keep you learning and teaches well.
I do the homework. I study. I have D. So much for that theory. Mrs. Collins is nice and she tries hard. All the smart ppl deserve to hear me whine.
Do the homework and study, get the A. listen to the lady. She speaks the truth. and please, PLEASE stop whining so much about the homework!
I don't care what you guys say, Collins is a good teacher as long as you actually listen to what she's saying. Just do your homework and stay awake, you get an A
She screwed up grading my test and wouldn't admit it.
i hate this teacher she is the worst teacher i ever had. she does not explain anything you have to teach yourself.
She likes wacky numbers and grrr(roll the r)aph paper...
Easy as long as you can teach yourself and keep very good track of the homeworks she looses or forgets to collect.
Very easy, get A+'s on the test, do 2-3 homeworks and get an A-, B+ easy.If ur friends are in class, ignore her and just talk to them.Just don't listen to her!!
Assings homework...forgets about assigned homework...collects it 3 or 4 classtimes later along with all the other homework she has forgotten to collect.
She told us to do problems 3 through 20, multiples of 3. When i pointed out that 20 was not a multiple of 3, she stared off into space for a good 5 minutes.
Mrs. Collins is a sweet lady...but i do have to admit that her class is pretty boring. pre-cal is a waste of time: i haven't learned anything new.
Offers no help, doesnt know the material, practically deaf, mumbles.
