Wow. What can I say? AMAZING TEACHER! I wish college had more professors of his caliber. The world needs more teachers like Harry Harvey. He was so passionate about teaching. He taught me that everyone has their own voice and style when it comes to writing and that it's subjective. I discovered my love of Shakespeare and William Blake. I wound up accidentally minoring in Journalism, and now i work for the NY Times as a jr Art Director. I would probably accredit him to opening the door to that.
hilarious in class. he'll pull out swords or wind up toys to act up scenes. great guy
I was in the first AP English class he taught at MHS, and he was great. I went on to major in English, work as a journalist, and now a magazine editor. I credit him with a lot of that.
great guy! cool guy! writes amazing recommendations (if he likes you)! take AP Lit even if you don't like to read. i don't like to read, and i still enjoyed his class, and was exempt from the final!
Best English teacher I've ever had. He is very much into literature and makes it interesting and fun. (Table Tennis!!!)
very good teacher, though his eyes are a little scary
Mr. Harvey's english lit class is one of the only worthwhile classes at MHS. you will come out of this class academically advanced. no other class does that.
I've never been a fan of English, but Harvey's interest and passion for the material makes it worthwhile. Plus, he's a cool guy.
Mr. Harvey was my teacher during his first year at MHS. He is VERY cool and passionate about English. You can learn a lot from him. I did very well once I got to college thanks to him... majored in English, actually!
