He's kinda a joke. You end up learning more on your own or from some other experienced person in CompSci than himself. He's friendly, just very confusing and lacks his own thought (literally his lectures are scripted from a textbook).

He is a nice person, and is very knowledgeable in computer science, but he is very vague at times and it is hard to understand what he is saying at times.

No idea what he's doing. Everything I learned in that class I taught myself. Once he tried to lecture by reading off a powerpoint he got off the internet and proceeded to read it wrong.

The first semester is easy because he gives you 50 extra credit points. The homework and tests aren't too difficult, you can always get help from the book or online. He's a little confusing due to his slight accent, but he tries really hard to help you. I'm not really sure how much he actually knows about computer science because he does didn't show us anything that he coded himself. I got a 3 on the AP from only paying attention sometimes.

Mr. Twiet is a really nice guy and I like that he tries but he just can't teach. I am in Computer Science AP and the tests are really hard and the HW is impossible. You can't even get help from others or use the internet for reference otherwise he gives you a referral which is completely unfair.

Not a very smart guy, but he tries. You're better off teaching yourself, but if you want a basically free period with credit (he rarely takes roll, won't notice if you walk out), any of his classes should be an easy A.

Only take this class if you are interested in programming or computers in general. Too many soon to be liberal art majors in my class that had no idea what they were doing. Beware! Mr. Twiet is not very good at conveying certain concepts aka. he is pretty bad at teaching. Some programming experience beforehand would be nice. Before taking this class, I recommend teaching yourself Python or C; TI Basic if you are lazy. If you know any one of these languages, you should be prepared.

WHAT A GREAT TEACHER. I THINK THE REASON WHY PEOPLE THINK HES A BAD TEACHER IS BECAUSE THEY TAKE THE CLASS AND ALL THEY DO IS PLAY GAMES AND SLEEP. I STAYED IN HIS CLASS AND LEARNED. 5 ON MY COMP SCI

Terrible web page teacher. Didn't even know what CSS is. Nice guy and tries hard, but should really stick to Java, as he knows it much more than he does HTML, and apparently CSS. I'm sure the language barrier is tough, though. English 3rd/4th lang

nice teacher, but not the best teacher for webpage. I don't learn anything from him; from the start, it's just, "go to w3schools.com and make a webpage" & that's it. &then he assigns people to be editors when they really shouldn't be...

He knows less than he thinks. He speaks a broken English and confuses many people in his classes with it. Some say he can't program, I am forced to agree as he is at times dumbfound. Can't teach.
