I had ms reich for geometry last year and, although I had never taken a single geometry class or even looked at the textbook, I seemed to know more about math than she did from day one. She constantly relied on me to provide answers to questions that she didn't know and that I had no way of knowing. Her tests were only a handful of questions, so one question wrong could be up to 20 points off. She was often mean to her students, and I had an I enjoyable experience in her class.
I LOVE HER !! she's my favorite teacher and i honestly look forward to her class every morning. She's so funny and sweet, you can talk to her as if she's your best friend. Not to mention, she seems incredibly knowledgeable about math, she explains things clearly and always accepts questions. If you pay attention in her class, you will pass.
My son has this teacher. She is not a very caring or effective teacher. She doesn't seem to teach concepts thoroughly, and when the kids do poorly on tests, as they all did recently, she is very flip about it and blames the kids for their bad grades when the truth is that she is a bad teacher and doesn't organize her lessons properly. My son's friends have other geometry teachers who are much much better and much much nicer. I'm very disappointed that the school has such a bad teacher!
Ms. Reich is the best math teacher I have ever had, and one of the best teachers I have had. It's her analytical and passionate approach to geometry that made me like math for the first time in my life, and I haven't liked it since I had her. Before I had her as a teacher I had no idea that math could make sense and be interesting at the same time, and that such abstract concepts could be so cool. Such a special teacher and person, she really was meant to teach.
Ms. Reich is not one of the better geometry teachers at Laguardia. Unfortunately my son had her last year, and she really turned him off to geometry. I was upset about it because he'd had nothing but great math teachers up until Ms. Reich, and he'd always loved math until Ms. Reich!
I have her for geometry and I am consistently confused in her class. She rarely takes questions from students.
Ms. Reich is such a caring human being. Great teacher, super amazing lesson plans, and tests are alright. She really loves everyone and I loved having her. I miss her and her jokes a lot!
Mrs. Reich is truly one of my favorite teachers of all my years in school. so intelligent, so helpful, so caring, and so adorable. She really wants her students to understand what she's teaching. Her lectures are interesting (she would make an amazing professor) and she connects what she's teaching to the outside world...which is something many teachers forget to do. Words cannot fathom how much I love her. She's amazing.
Wow had the best time with her!! She is a good teacher
Ms. Reich is absolutely the best Math teacher I have ever had. So much so, that the profession I'm going in for is teaching Mathematics. She teaches for understanding math, not just showing it to you.
I love her so much. She is so nice, and she clearly cares about her job. She's always smiling, always comes to class prepared, and always calls on a variety of students. She goes over everything carefully, lets you ask a ton of questions. She makes you think, and always tries to make you solve the problem, not herself and then explain it to you. If you have a chance to switch into her class, do so.
im taking her geometry class and its only been about a month but she's easily one of my favorite teachers ive ever had. all these people saying she's immature and "picks" on people are completely crazy, she gives EVERYONE a chance. even people that lurk in the back. she'll let them take up 15 minutes of class time just to stumble through a problem and will help them and its obvious she cares so much. she teaches with such amazing knowledge and clarity, you will be LUCKY to have her. amazing.
She doesn't care about her students really. Barely checks the homework and doesn't really push us to learn anything. She just makes it our choice weather we want to pay attention or not.
She moved wayyy too quickly. Everyone fails her hard tests. Really laid back on homeworks, but not such a good teacher
I learned so much from her, I wish I had her again this year!
Awesome teacher! So laid back, but she cares and gets her serious face on when you need help. Cool person and teacher.
I have a feeling that she's trying a bit too hard to fit in with the students. Her ways of grading is horrible though.
She's awesome. Totally cool with the kids, gets to the point in her lessons and above all, seems to love what she does which is extremely important!
Her class may be hard sometimes, but her tests are easy if you pay attention. She is definitely the SMARTEST math teacher at LaGuardia and she is awesome! If you have her, be happy!
I've been in college for 3 years now and I have yet to have a teacher as AMAZING as Heidi Reich. Cherish her, kids. She is ONE OF A KIND!!
She's awesome.. had her for two years now for. she is at first, seems unapproachable, but you'll get to like her a lot. She's awesome, and yea sometimes her jokes are a bit lame, but you'll still be laughing b/c it is; better than being bored. She's a great math teacher, and she's very smart; a plus
Ms.Reich is a bad math teacher, she never gives tests and when she does they are on SO much material, I didn't learn anything from her class. She tries way to hard to be cool...
She is one of the best math teachers ever! she explains things in a way I can actually understand...she loves when people make fun of her, just to give her a chance to hit you back with some lame diss that you can tell her sucks, and she just loves it! shes an all around great person
Ms. Reich is the coolest math teacher ever... I had her last year, and I wish I had her again this year. She's really smart and really funny. Whoever has her is really lucky.
I didn't learn a SINGLE thing in her class. I failed the calc exam, but passed her class o.o; She was a really cool and hip teacher though =]
she's funny but can't teach at all. Equivalent to the art department instruction. Really likes slackers. I had her for Geometry, and my GPA suffered because of her.
I thought she was horrible. Shes only good if you know what your doing and shes just kind of mmmature and stupid.
oh miss reich i will miss you! she's really great. really smart and funny and interesting. and for those who say she is immature, she was probably just condescending to your level.
why am i even doing this? I LOVE MS REICH TO THE CORE! AMAZING TEACHER! AMAZING HUMAN BEING!
I love Ms. Reich. She made me really like geometry, and now I'm good at it!
i loooovveee her. she made me want to go to her class. cheating is good but thats cause shes mad cool and wants u to do well, she even says so. ms reich, you taught me and pushed me!!
I don't like Ms Reich and her play on favortism. She'll openly pick on you in class. She is not funny and annoying.
quirky and fun, kind of immature. Concepts aren't quite clear sometimes. Disorganized at times. Still a cool teacher nevertheless.
She's the coolest grometry teacher in the school she's very clear and i guess it's a pluss that we have a good class. She's so funny.
I love ms. Reich sooo much, shes really cool, she made fun of me all the time, i did the same, she made fun of my midterm but i got a 98 in her class so...
Ms. Reich needs to act her age! After school, she makes fun of students to their face. She acts like she thinks shes a student. I highly dislike Ms. R!!
Reich is cool, I have her for calc. It's a hard class so I'm not doing so well, but she is very helpful and a pretty good teacher too.
i had her for english. coolest cat out there. and she was always trying to improve her russian. and shes a really good math teacher.
splendid teacher. infinitely laid back though. oh well!
mr reich is just the best. shes probably not only the best teacher, but the coolest person at laguardia. thanks for all of ur help ms reich!
Thanks for everything Ms. Reich! If it weren't for you helping me, I don't think I would have past math.
She is the best. She is so sweet and funny and makes you like math. I love her class.
Ms. Reich helps everyone to achieve success in math. She works hard to make sure that everyone understands the material and makes it interesting and enjoyable.
