As a graduate I can look back with some degree of objectivity. I was on his bad list from the beginning. When I came after class for help he would just restate what he had said in class. He is willing to see 80% of his class fail a test. He blames the students for lack of effort. Looking back, I can say that this man single-handedly ruined my high school career. You cannot imagine the frustration and anguish of seeing your best efforts looked on with disdain. Avoid him like your life depended on it.
Mr. David is an acquired taste. When I first had him, I thought that he was awful. Weird humor, tough tests, bad personality. But after a while, I kinda realized that he really understands Math. Therefore, try to ignore his idiosyncracies. Instead focus on mainly acquiring the knowledge. I think that if you respect him, then you will do better in his classes.
wow, when people told me he was gonna be horrible i had no idea. the most boring man ever, and sooo weird!!!!
probably the most frustrating teacher i've ever had. made me hate math.
People hate on him, but he was awesome to my class. Funny in his own way, and he taught everything really well.
Had to drastically curve tests to stop the dreaded 45 class average on tests.
very interesting fellow, hard, scary, but i learned.
Great teacher! Very helpful and kind. Wrote me a stellar college recommendation.
Unfair workload; often had to grade on a curve to keep the class from failing.
