I honestly learned so much from her and it helped me in upper level spanish too
She gets a lot of flak because most students in Spanish don't take the class seriously, yet expect to get an A. That's not how Mrs Cooper works. If you do the work she assigns and pay attention in class, it's an easy A. She speaks clearly and slowly so that students can understand what she says, and never assigns more than 30 minutes worth of homework each night. She's always super willing to help kids who come in after class, except 90% of them don't, and then complain about their grade.
I have had Profe Cooper for the last two trimesters. According to many students, she is a horrible lady who doesn't care about her students. They are WRONG. You earn her respect for you by being nice to her. Also, if you ask her for help, she will gladly sit down with you to help you. But you have to do the work. In Her class, you have to work hard for your grade, and you have to take the initiative to fix poor test scores, or get help on a poorly understood chapter. I strongly recommend her.
All you have to do is listen and do the homework. She speaks slow enough for you to understand, IF you pay attention. So, pay attention.
She's a great teacher. If you actually do the work, you will do fine. Also, the tests are not hers they're the publisher's, which all the other teachers use too.
Her class was impossible but I learned a lot and she's not that mean
Ms. Cooper plays favorites, and her class is really hard with the way she grades based on participation. She does know her subject however, but to get an A or B you have to TRY really hard.
She's very intimidating, but everyone has the capacity to succeed in her class.
HARD. In one word, Profe Cooper is super hard. Her tests and teaching is very hard, but I've felt more prepared in her class this year than in the last two years put together.
her class isnnt that easy but over all shes a nice person. just that she can be intimidating but shes always willing to help
i had her in 2001..she's pretty tough, strict, & a bit intimidating...(her tests, grading, etc)
