Its not easy being the principal of a school with over 2000 kids. You don't get to meet the guy on a personal level but you feel his presence at East. People in the music and arts departments really understand him better because he strongly supports those programs. He has done alot for the school and I think he has done an awesome job as a principal. The only downside to him is I wish he was more active in school activities.
It seems to me that he only has time for the smart kids. He doesn't even know wether I am a student in his school or not. You think he would since i've been around for three years.
My Mom had him years ago when he was a teacher. She said he was really nice and a great teacher. I think some are meant to teach and others......
Better teacher in the 1970s and 80s than principal now that my children attend this school also.
Mr. O'breza is clearly a very smart man who's doing a great job of running our school. He really does need a public speaking course, though. He always speaks in this deep monotone that makes him sound like he's terribly depressed. His speaking style turns many people off to him, which is a shame, cause he's a great guy.
Always in a meeting and never returns calls. A bit of a snob who talks down to you.
Dr O'Breza taught Honors English in my senior year (1986) and was probably the best English teacher I ever had. I am forever grateful to him for teaching me how to write clearly and for introducing me to wonderful books which I doubt I would have read otherwise (e.g. _Lucky Jim_, which gets better each time I re-read it).
his exterior may be intimidating but he wouldnt harm a fly. he is a great guy and he cares... but dont get on his bad side
considering his job i think he is doing it well when u think about it, plus i see him at almost all the events @ school. gotta give him credit for that
A very intelligent, well-educated man. But he could use a public speaking course. "Alright" may be more irritating than "like" as a pause.
The man constantly says alright after evry sentence and not always clear like its sometimes muddled like he doesnt know he really does it.
i like him..i dunno wats wrong with u people?
dont talk about the pricible like that.. my mom needs a new dictionary.. lol
This guy can put an insomniac to sleep. when he starts talkin, get your pillow and get that well needed rest ;-)
I was supposed to go 2 days in a row to Great Adventure in May of senior year (2004) but he didnt want us doing that so he cancelled the calc trip. Not cool
I can't rate him because I don't know him...he needs to get out there and maybe actually interact with the students.
Dr. O'Breza is both a wonderful educator and person. Unlike much of the faculty at East, he is dedicated to the development of the students.
UH..THE LUNCH PERIOD 6 THING IS KINDA WERID BUT HE IS PRETTY COOL
Dr. O'Breza's appointment as Principal is a breath of fresh air to East. He is a caring, bright, and compassionate man.
Obreeza..The Florida trip was great..especially your wake up calls! Great guy, class act, I ennjoyed my time at East
His main concerns are 1) East's high SAT scores(as if he & the teachers R the reason 4 this) & 2) How many East kids get into Ivy League schools.Strange & rude
AWESOME! This guy is amazing!!!!!!!!!!! Good and helpful and very positive! THAnx
o'breza is one of the most helpful and thoughtful administrators
