Mr. Eakin was my teacher for years. He never let me get away with not doing my best. Although that was frustrating at times, he was always available for help, and never turned anyone away.
Elfun CAS can be tricky, but Jack tries his best. Asks questions on tests to make you think outside of the box to see if you really understand concepts, good for learning math.
He is a "good" teacher only if you are already familiar with the material. His teaching in CAS trig was unclear, hard to learn. Switched to Mr. Triebsch, trig became easy!
Very sarcastic guy. If you don't know that before taking his class, you're in trouble. His Statistics class is actually pretty fun, compared to his old Pre-Calc class.
real jerk, needs to grow up. But, he is a good teacher
I love how his class is structured. You are responsible to learn and do homework, if you need help, the help is impeccable. If you wont work, you wont do well
When I first started Mr. Eakin's Trig class, I thought he was a really cool guy. Instead I find myself looking at my watch about 10 times throughout class.
Difficult, but prepares students for college well. Could prepare them better if he wasn't so quirky.
