He does not only care about marching band, he cares about jazz band too. He like you if you do what you're told, hmmmmmmm.... like any other teacher would, right?
mr satcher is amazing, that's the end of it, and if you don't like him its probbly because... yeah i'm not going to be mean
He is the best. We just sit in the back and play cards and have lots of fun and still play the simplest of music in symphonic band
Don't hate on Satch! Yes, he can be intimidating, and he has high expectations, but he's an awesome person. He's like a father to me, and has helped me both with band and personal problems. One of my fave teachers ever.
He acted very cold towards me, making me so uncomfortable that it affected my playing. He made band too militant, not as fun as it could have been. Only pays attention to jazz band or marching band people. He is also more concerned with the group than the individual (see Diemedio). Lastly, I hated the composition project with a passion.
unprofessional, only pays attention to marching band students
Messiest teacher known to walk the earth. Yet, he knows what he's doing and expects people to accomplish what he wants done. If they aren't, down go the grades
Satch rocks. I have a lot of trouble with triads and stuff, but he helps me out.
He was fun in class..........hated him in marching band "The Little Napoleon." He is nice in class..he grades generously when your bassoon doesn't work!
Best ever. Even when he is obsessed playing collapse during midi.
Satch rocks- band is great- i hated that composition project tho...and watch out for flying shoes!
satch is the greatest he is so nice to everyone i lve him to death!
A pretty cool guy. Watch out for when he goes "down the line." It's kinda intimidating to have him watch you while you try and concentrate on scales or music.
