I had her for Japanese 1 during freshman year. Although she did give me a hard time (and was not one of her favorites by ANY means), I could tell that she really wanted her students to succeed. This included working with students who struggled by organizing times to come in each cycle during their breaks. Very few teachers make an effort to initiate meetings with students bc usually students are expected to take the initiative when it comes to grades. Also really knew her stuff.
Asato Sensei is one of the best teachers I have ever had!!! She introduced my to Japanese 1 in a way that was insightful, and full of clarity. Asato has a profound understanding for the traditional Japanese teacher. Maybe she likes mejQuery17205198491045739502_1398294675058?
Asato sensei teaches with an open approchable personality that makes learning in her class fun and enjoyable. Despite being in her favorite or least favorite class, there will always be humor in most classes with a lesson taught that you can grasp.
Great Japanese teacher. Has the class do fun activities and is helpful if you have questions.
She's a great at teaching Japanese but she needs to learn to treat her students equally. And there are times when she gets really moody.
She's the best teacher i've ever had. its pretty simple. those who want an A and strive for it, will get one. those who want an A but are slackers will fail.
She is pretty cool. She can be really harsh on occcasion but not utterly bad
She is an okay teacher who likes her job, but is a really tough grader. I got on her bad side from one incident irrelevant to school and she hated me the rest of the year, unwilling to help me.
best japanese teacher i have had, though that is not really saying too much. class is pretty fun with her. only thing is, she will attack you if she dislikes you
she owns... one of the only Japanese teachers here with common sense
Loved her. She was awesome and I actually learned something from her, unlike my other teachers. I wish I could have her every year! I like the way she teaches and she is very good at making herself
i think her classes are fun. she likes to do activities and give extra credit. the way you earn extra credit isn't always fair though.
anyone could learn japanese as long as you have the text. Thats the only thing she does, just read of the textbook and expects you to remember it from that day on.
shes a cool teacher. I have her currently at Punahou for Japanese 1. she doesn't plays favorites and she will help you if you ask for it.
She does play favorites (I'm not one). She's a good teacher and is willing to answer questions, but I would have a much higher opinion of her if she treated everyone equally.
NO FUN...NO FUN...AHHHH...MIGRANE!! She assigns way too much homework. she thinks our whole world revoles around Japan..I hate it. I wish i was a favorite..
asato sensei is the best japanese teacher ever! i had her for 2 out of 4 years. i wish i could have had her all 4 years. strict but very effective teacher
i love asato senseiiiiiiiiii! the games are the best!!!
she does have favorites. there's one guy in my class that she didn't like and she gave him 2 demerits in the first two months of school.
kind-hearted. she will help if you ask for help. pretty strict and has difficult tests and such, but she's cool
she is very willing to help when you need help. She is almost always available.
super strict, plays favorites to the max, no fun at all
see all those people who gave her happy faces? they're her favorites.
she does play favorites, and picks on those that she dislikes. bleh!
She is stubborn. She does not listen. She plays favorites.
makes most people want to take credit/no credit and then drop
Hated her~she made me drop Japanese, plays favorites really bad
