In Spanish II, I have not had a single class where she didn’t yell at us at least twice. She would lose her temper often and give very inconsistent grades. When she’s happy, everyone gets A’s. When she’s not, she will use everything aganist you to give you the worst score possible.

I had Senora Cox for Spanish 2 and I hated, her class. I get very frustrated at how she determines your final grade, that is her biggest problem. She always boast about how none of her students have gotten an F before in her class but half of my class is failing this semester. I know that they do not understand the material but she gives them retakes on tests and missing assignments so that they can pass. I would write more except that I am now out of room.

If you get her for Spanish 2/3, move out of the country. if you hear her name, run. she is one of the worst teachers i have ever had. she screams at you in Chinese. You will learn more mandarin in her class than Spanish. she doesn't teach. she just gives you these stupid homework check quizzes. oh and she tends to talk about China. NOTHING. BUT. CHINA.

I've had Mrs. Cox twice-- it really takes some getting used to. I feel that people try to undermine her class, especially in the lower classes such as Spanish II, but she really takes Spanish pretty seriously. Reviewing the vocab and grammar lesson nightly is pretty much essential to getting an A unless you came from Davis Drive (go Sra. Verde!). The class itself can be very easy depending on how you approach it, most of her quizzes and homework checks come from material in the books ...

She teaches well but you have to study in her class. She has favorites and you should show that you are trying in her class. She is sincere and overall a good teacher but you must study for Spanish 3.

[SP3H] This class was really hard for me. I bounce back and forth from liking Mrs. Cox and not.. she's obviously knows spanish, but I think she doesn't translate that well in her teaching methods.

It's very hard to learn when you're in an atmosphere that is so negative. I think she wants to be helpful, sadly teaching is not a profession she should be in.

Mrs. Cox is very nice, and she has very good intentions for all of her students. Many people do not like her because she is a little strange, but she's good.
