I've never had him for any class but the ONE time I needed him to tutor me, he made the hard physics problem so easy that an 8th grader could understand! He has a degree in physics so he knows his stuff. He explains everything he is doing and he makes SURE you know why you're doing it. JUST ONE TIME I LEARNED SO MUCH!
I had Mr. Brown for college algebera his class was hard, but he was extemely helpfull. He even game my class his home phone number just incase we needed help. He was an awsome teacher!
Not a good teacher, but he's the only IB Physics teacher at Ironwood, so can't really choose anyone else. He gets sidetracked a lot.
Not helpful in IB Physics. He says to ask questions but usually not in office. When you do ask, he treats you like you should already know it. Wouldn't recommend this class if you want an A.
Can't complain. I was prepared for my IB math test thanks to him.
I only had him for IB Math Studies (so the class was all review...) but I thought him to be wholly average. He doesn't dislike helping people he just finds a lot self evident... so if you don't...
He makes math fun! His sense of humor brightens it up and he is helpful despite his love for tangents while teaching. A great teacher with the concepts and really helps you get it. Agree with 11/24/09
He is easily distracted by 'story time'. Doesn't teach very often. Know the material before you take his class and use it to do homework. Not very helpful when you ask him for guidance w/your future.
He's an....uh, interesting teacher. Doesn't do much to teach, just tells people to ask who's next to you and his extra credit questions make no sense whatsoever.
He helps you undestand math...you can't do well in math if oyu just do it, you do well if you undestand why you do it. Plus he shows you a lot of cool karate.
Mr. Brown tries very hard to do all he can. You love him or hate him.
