Mr.Vorba was the best science teacher I’ve ever had. I actually understood what was going on in his class and he never misplaced anything. He was super organized and I loved it. He was always super helpful and gave good explanations and answers to any questions you had. 10/10 would recommend this man as a teacher. Too bad he retired. You were great.
Life is tough. Get over it. Jed recognizes talent, heart, and work ethic whether it's in the classroom or in athletics. School is more than just academics and sports...It's about being a role model and grooming future leaders. Without Jed and people like him I wouldn't be who I am today. I wasn't a good student nor did I want to be, but he worked me as hard in the classroom as he did on the football field, track, and on the baseball field. Keep it up Vorba!! RH Conrad
Jed was a great help for my son and daughter years ago.I had to offer this review after reading some of the others.Of course he is trying to fill the track team with too much emphasis on the ridiculous amount of hours the baseball program expects from their players,he has to push track. However,he definitely does not penalize a student for not going out for track.Blame Rood and the crazy number of hours he expects from his players and his obvious selection of his favorites.
Very great teacher and coach. He knows
what you need to do to be successful and he helps you get there.
Many people do not like him but I think he is a great teacher we learned a ton. Very supportive with grades, other issues, especially sports. The class was easy and fun. Being someone with ocd he is also very organized so his learning style helped me
i also had him for team classes in 9th grade and he sucked. oh and he told my folks that i basicly had no future and i was on the wrong track. he jed i probely make know i make more than you in a year. he should stick to coaching
1st semester say your doing track, 2nd semester GET OUT
I had Mr. Vorba for 9th grade TEAM during the 1997-1998 school year. It was obvious that his passion was athletics and NOT teaching. He had an established teaching plan that worked for him -- not us
