Completely useless in teaching the necessary material to understand what's expected knowledge on tests and quizzes, making his class totally impossible to succeed in. He's a nice guy overall but don't bother going to him for extra help because even one-on-one he can't explain what you really need to know. Also gets super defensive when students call him out for screwing them over for tests and quizzes or when they tell him they're struggling. I'm tryna drop rn and you should too

Ferri is an absolute legend and deserves more credit. If you take any interest in his life or try to connect with him he will like you and make every effort to help you. One of my most memorable teachers of high school.

Update! So now he is refusing to actually teach us the course he is being paid to teach us. He is instead giving us stupid packets, making us do activities on our own, take notes from the textbook at home, and does not teach. All he does is stand around and do nothing now. AND THIS IS THE HARDEST UNIT AND HE KNOWS IT.

He is the worst teacher I have ever had in my entire life. The man has no idea what he is doing and goes off on tangents during class. The tests are nothing like what you learn in class and you will only get a decent grade if you can teach yourself from the book. He needs to do everyone at WHS a favor and quit right now. I hate this man with every fiber of my being

Probably the least helpful teacher I've ever had. I reccomend not listening to him, for doing so only confuses you more. If you have him, drop out, switch classes, or be prepared to learn out of the text book for the next year.

He has really funny stories that he loves to share with his classes. His homework assignments aren't demanding, and they help a lot with learning the material

Did not know how to teach the material, extra help did not help and made you learn from the textbook to "help you learn how to read a math textbook"=laziness on his part and failing on mine.

Not good at grading tests and obviously picks favorites. Graded questions on my test lower than others who did the same thing wrong because he doesnt like me as much as the super smart freshmen.

Really fun teacher, you can have really wonderful conversations with him and he's so nice. Not great at teaching the material though...you basically are left to fend for yourself.

Oh Ferri. He's an awesome guy and he knows what he's talking about. Poor guy had his dreams crushed and always talks about business and the music industry.
