Mr. Hagar is a really sweet person and a talented musician. He is very funny and relaxed in class and helps you one on one to improve your writing skills. Homework is completely manageable and the feedback on essays is really insightful.
Had him twice throughout my years at Santa Cruz High. During class he's all over the place. But if you talk to him one on one he is phenomenally more helpful and knowledgeable about literature and writing.
