Greatest math teacher at this school and possibly the one of the best in the entire school district.
I had him for Algebra 2 and PreCalc, he is really easy going if you know your stuff. Tests make up your grade mostly (90% tests, 5% HW, 5% Tutoring). If you do well on his tests, you can pass the class without doing any homework (not recommended). Too bad he is retiring next year (2016).
I would say he's really hard because his tests are 90% of your grade and I can't understand his lessons really well and he gives short notes and I don't get my homework, this is ridiculous
Mr. Johnson managed to become the only math teacher whom it seemed that the entire class ended up despising him, most of us for the same reason: He can't teach. He knows the subject extremely well, but he assumed we all did, too. I once looked at his gradebook for the class, and calculated the average test scores (By the way, tests are literally 95% of your grade). You know what the average test score among the whole class was? About 35%. Horrible teacher, get a transfer if you get him.
The BEST math teacher I've EVER had, just do his homework and you'll be guaranteed a D-. He's so helpful and understanding, he helps kids outside of the classroom and understands what's up. Pretty awesome dude, I get to have him twice though, he's retiring very soon.. Great teacher!
Had him for Pre-Calculus, best math teacher at IHS. You're lucky if you have him.
I had him this year. In my opinion, he is a great teacher. His tests are rather difficult, but if you do the reviews he gives you, then you will most certainly get an A. He is hilarious and wastes A LOT of class time. Definitely one of my favorite classes.
P.S. He is also very serious when it comes to cheating, he checks your graphing calculator and lined papers!!!
Had him for Geometry, funny, yet he expects you to know the material right then
Good teacher, cares for his students. He explains things really clearly and is really helpful, so ask questions if you don't understand. His tests are kinda hard, so study. He wastes alot of classtime
He has a no "F" policy. just do your work and get to class on time. so the lowest grade you can get in his class is a D-. If you do good on tests you'll finish that class with A's.
he reviews the problems if you ask him, his jokes are corny but funny [i guess] study and you'll ace the quizzes.
Funny teacher, expects you to understand and learn. Class is hard, no doubt about that, but you'll get through if you focus ALOT.
If youre the best math student then join the class, if youre the B or average C student then dont join the class youll just get an F or D and fail.
Decently helpful, not mean, somewhat strict, moderately easy work. He really loves science. He explains everything clearly and then more. easy to slack off in his class, his lectures are repeats
Well, I suppose he's very clear, since he's so loud. Loud enough to hear from adjacent classrooms. Sadly, most of what he says is about how useless we are and how we'll never amount to anything.
Johnson is a very good teacher .Yes his grading is 95% tests but they are multiple choice. He has a good reason for his grading scale go ask him about it. It's funny how he makes fun of the poor administration
I think he is probably THE best teacher at this school. Its like he knows everything. So far every question i have ever seen asked to him has been answered. Dont slack off and you'll be fine.
Hands down the funniest teacher at Indi. Very helpful- he WANTS you to do well. his grading method is effective-just do the homework (correctly) and u will be fine. Plus, his finals are extra credit!!
dude, anger mangement, now last time i checked teachers shouldnt cus or? im just asking cuz this guy does + doesnt know his subjects that hes "teaching" otherthan that sure coolguy
Great teacher. I had him for SST1-2. Kids will learn alot if they pay attention and don't do stupid things. Really strict though, and really funny.
Funny and nice, but can't teach. Seriously. And his grading sucks. 95% is based on tests! And his tests are 10 questions, multiple choice. Get 7/10? Your grade is a 70. (C-)
He's a caring teacher, though very strict, but you'll learn a great deal if you apply yourself.A wonderful teacher.
If you pay attention in his class and do your work, you'll get a good grade. He's funny and never in a bad mood.
I learned a lot from this class.. the substitute teachers taught me a lot.
very straight forward, clear, and structured. his teaching method work well for me at least. the man's got morals and funnies.
Cool teacher! But for my low grade I blame the book, not the teacher.
Hey Mr. Johnson! You said your rating was low so I'm gonna help you raise it, lol. I think you're a good teacher and you're pretty cool. Bye bye
He's a good teacher and a very smart guy. Just pay attentnion, do the work, and study and he's not so bad.
Kind of strange but he has a good heart and loves math. Prepare to do a lot of self learning
